grrrrrr...fema is messing around...i know i should be happier for any help they might provide, but the city and fema are talking of clearing the whole block where i live...im not so much for it. best case scenerio is that they may let me keep it, i wont be able to move bck in til late sept or oct..im not ready for that. frick...i only lived there for 2 weeks.

yeah we were talking about having a tornado over a flood...neither are good, but picking between poisions, if we had a choice. not sure tho. not really sure how communities, towns, and states bounce bck from something like this. as far as today, not so much i can do as many others...we're waitin for updates as where to go. during the worst of it, here in vinton we only had one way out of town instead of 5...that was bad, now we have 3 ways again...the bridges took a hard hit. for now tho i guess..im gonna head over to my moms and plant some flowers...before they die of lack of water..lol funny in a way..

thanks for the prayers mf...last night was the first time i was able to get online....the servers and still tryin to get everyone online..so i never know how long i will be on. otherwise i would of let you know sooner. i do enjoy having electricity, water bck..the sewer would be nice to have..but those portapotties are better then nothing..LOL this was a big wake up call for many of us, what we take advantage of and what we need to appreicate more..

the mighty mississippi...yeh, not so sure how shes doing..but she took our water. there was this one small town where both our major rivers hit before meetin up with the mighty...amazing...mother nature got testy with us..i guess.. are you doing okay there mf or you experiencing the rage of her too..

salvageable...so far yes...keep sending the prayers and good vibes...are always needed!!!

hi alan...naa theres a couple here from Iowa, thanks for your flowers....very sweet. parkerburg was something else wasnt it? my boys went to new hartford and worked the weekend there as soon as they were letting volunteers in. they were quite surprised by all the damage and losses they seen there.

i wish the sandbags would of worked in more places..it was just too high. i think they did save a couple buildings as the waters went further south. the rivers were mean and unforgiving to those who stood in its way. for once my town had the white rapids as we watched the force of it.
