That may work for you & I respect that everyone needs a certain degree of space, but isn't the point of a relationship to sleep & wake up with that person??
My point is, there are many people who use dating sites with no intention of dating, especially Ines with forums, with people using them to kill time through boredom, or loneliness.
The difference between online dating & normal dating is, that will normal dating, you have a one- one encounter, whereas with online dating, you can talk to multiple people simultaneously. However, if there was an "exclusively motion" whereby a button is clicked & you can only mail that person, it may be taken more seriously & would stop any paranoia & would decrease the amount of scammers from joining dating sites. What are your thoughts & opinions?
Everyone has their own theories on hoarding. I've watched programmes on the mental issues involved , but it may just be as simple as people who don't want to let go of the past.
People make their own assumptions before a word is said. If there is no initial attraction, then you won't get a reply, unless it's a polite, "no but thanks anyway " Just a simple "hi how are you" could start the ball rolling!
It's happened to me on a few occasions, unclean house, messy furniture, unmatching underwear....... And my first thoughts were. "I can't believe I waxed for this"
