I think if that person mattered enough to make a place in your heart, its not possible to remove them entirely. People make a place in your heart for various reasons. Its the most natural and beautiful thing that happens. So i guess its not something we have any control over.
But, when the memories get painful .. its easier to forget or rather suppress the painful part and treasure the good times that were spent together and move on. Easier said than done but life is too small to let anything let those good times be wiped off our mind.
So forget the bitter things , keep the happy memories and move on .. hmm i think thats easier. But that doesnt mean accepting that person back. Its just that you value the time you shared and you personally invested regardless of how things have turned out to be.
hmmm i think the division in to a concept of youth and beauty and another of age and wisdom itself is a little biased and generalized.
Beauty is not always in the youthful and age doesn't always bring wisdom.
To me its the wisdom hmmm rather more so a kind heart which is " beautiful " . That can itself be a sign of youth in someone older.
A lot of older men and women i have known are far more beautiful both in the way they look and by their nature than many youngsters. While i have seen a handful of youngsters with both inner and external beauty as well.
Its all in the perception of both the person and the observer i guess.
oh stop it Rob .. enjoy yourself !!! It happens once a yr and its YOUR special day !! You definitely matter to people close to you and they would be more than happy to make this day happy and special. And there are so many of them on CS ..
Life is gruelling many times but its little moments and occasions which make it even more worthwhile once a while.
