My mother was very against interracial dating, and when I was dating my husband she thought he was black and did not talk to me for a long time. I finally sent her a picture and when she realized that he was white she apoligized. She thought he must be dark as I had never sent a picture of him.
Glad you did not wait any longer before you went and had it checked. A lot of us fear going to the doctor in case it is cancer, but now from you we see how not waiting too long turns out the best.
This is a touchy subject as I have a granddaughter who's father was black. I am worried about how she will feel when she realizes that she is a different color than the rest of the family. I have people who now come up and ask if she is adopted, and when I say no they kind of look at us strange. She has no family from his side here for her to relate to. He died last summer when she was only turning two.
So I would date outside my race, but would have to think about having children.
I now read this and had no idea what the government was really like, just that this lady today made me start thinking why are they in Canada if they are like this.
The only reason I asked about the good points because on the surface some of it look like it would be alright. I just had a lady come to my door trying to get a lady on the ballet for the communist party, she wanted me to sign a sheet of paper. I said no, but I do not know what the communist Party is?
I must of had my head in the sand as I had never heard of this before. Is this for real whatever you call it, will have to look it up and why are they doing it?
Nicole does not live with me, she is living room and board at another place. I live with a different daughter who will not take her crap, that is why she will not allow Nicole to live here with us.
She just came walking through the door like she did nothing wrong, was just out partying. Told her she was irresponsible and to leave, she just laughed.
The cab company will not even give us the address of where they dropped her off, will just say Edmonton, as it goes against the privacy act to give out that imformation.
Just talked to the police and they will not take a missing persons report. They said she would of had to have dementia, or have left some type of confinement. They said that adults go missing all the time and that is just life, so we have to wait to see if she walks in the door or shows up dead.
Maybe we knew something was going on but did we really know the name for it. It was not something that women talked about when I was growing up, it was all about the men.
