It also bugs me that people cannot pick up a phone to let you know that they are going to be late. You just wait and wait wondering if they are still comming.
I always make it a point to arrive on time, even if it means leaving earlier than I have too. I would rather be early then late.
What I hate the most is when after a person tells you they never said that, when you know that they did.
This happens constantly with my grand daughter's father. He will phone and say he wants to come for a visit on a certain day at a certain time and then not show up. After he will say he never said that.
I took my husband's name but did change it back after the divorce. I still run into trouble as I did not change my S.I.N. number back as I would have to pay for it. When I went to school and got money from the government it came in my married name and my bank is in my madien name. I had to show all I.D. every time I tried to cash it and explain, explain, and explain. Asked for the cheques to be changed into my madien name but it never happened.
Now if I kept my name it would not matter how many times I got married.
I had a guy once ask me how many last names do I have.
You are right, it is the small things that matter the most. A gentle touch like putting his arm around your shoulders or a certain twinkle in his eyes.
Halloween is for fun, whether you get dressed up to go to a party or just to great the kids at the door. The decorations, scary music and movies all part of it.
