Have read a couple of books by Nesbö, but can’t say more that it were interesting crime stories to read as don’t remember anything else particularly.
Have given myself “Our kind of traitor” of Le Carré for New Year that left me disappointed. I was, and in many cases still am, a great fan of him, but he went into iterations. It would be very good as your first book of him, but after “Russia house” and “Night manager”… Really pity.
I read now at home - and you don’t want to know what I read at work - “Eperor of Ocean Park” of one Stephen L. Carter. Enjoy the language. Here’s a bit of review:
“Intricate, superbly written, often scathingly funny, it is a triumphant work of fiction, a brilliantly crafted tapestry of ambition, family secrets, and justice gone terribly wrong.”
That’s exactly what I told to my ex! (When he still was current.) And, good people, once the man had guts not to believe me! Just imagine!
So I had to make a demonstration in his presence when we next time after this were together at a supermarket – I went in circles for hours and always turned wrong and couldn’t tell right from left and up from down… ‘till he cried in exhaustion: “Ok, ok, I believe you, let’s go home!”
And from then on I always had a perfect alibi every time I wanted to AOL.
Oh, that’s nothing. I’ve got my car shipped from my ex’s place in the middle of nowhere to Gbg via a car repair, so I’ve learned all kinds of mistakes that can happen during the process. But the most remarkable, or that struck me as the most remarkable, thing was a discovery that people are so willing to bring you bad news about your car’s misfortunes in so delightful voices that you almost are feeling guilty that you don’t share their cheerfulness.
Was choosing among GPS:s. Wanted to fit it into February budget ánd get maximum honey for the money. Turned cross-eyed and soft-brained. Have ordered one today. Very poor strategically planned – it won’t come until beginning of the next week and will get to wait until next weekend for tests in surviving in my hands (not all mechanical and digital devices do).
Well… I also hope that her singing will improve with the time, or she would choose songs proportional to her voice. Or just would develop the talents she hás got. Possibilities are endless.
I like flute in this song, and I always imagined small, dragonfly-like creatures, that quiver with their transparent wings in the moon-light. I regard it as a dance.
Was drinking champz and listening to Offenbach. It’s a hundred years ago I’ve seen “Beautiful Elena”… Must investigate whether they have operetta in Gothenburg.
RE: Fight Club....Ok, ok, book club
Have read out GPS manual – an amusing lil’ thing.
