Whilst out tonight having a birthday dinner with my sister ( i had the chicken , she had the pork ) it came to her attention that i didnt know how to properly open a wine bottle or pour , and my choice in meals was rather bland ( im not one much for exotic stuff.. we were at a french restaurant ).
So , what is your definition of being down to earth ( eg " im a DTE female who enjoys getting her hands dirty but can glam up etc etc etc )
Mine is not wanting the expensive wines , or the exotic meals , or going to restaurants where the side order of fries costs a months salary...
And dont expect hundreds first time around.. as word spreads they get bigger , im about to do another brisbane one myself , but by all means do it!! find a good place for food/drinks and make sure there is good entertainment , having it all happen in 1 place is better as you dont have to worry about travelling between venues , and see what affordable accomodation is available closeby for those who have distance to travel.
just out of curiosity , have you done a complete member search around your local area?
Not trying to be not nice or anything , but 8 months of bumping this thread isnt really working for you , so maybe look at other alternatives?
I have found that if you join sites , its always good for a few months , but then the same people turn up in your searches , then its time to move on to another site with fresh faces and newer contacts
Also , maybe go to events where there may be more people walking around pierced than pissed.. lol , like a bike show or a hot rod show , or even the local supermarket aisle .
There isnt much interest from this site , but if some of you are super keen to go on a ride with heaps of people , 98% who are single , throw me some mail and i'll hook you up with the relevant information
yes and no... casual means not full time , open , available at any time.. 1 night is 1 night , casual is a random on-going affair ( no pun intended ) , that could be weeks , months or years.
Also forgot.. ditch "proportional" , to me , it sounds like you lie around the couch , not on it.. and from your camping just got up pic , your NOT proportional at all!

another thing you can do , is check others profiles out and steal ideas from them , obviously not a scammer , for they love the greetings of indulgence and look forward to love and respect with and I dream to find strong and careful the man. On which always it is possible to rely. To which can trust and be assured that he will not betray. To which can open the secrets and desires. If you appreciate serious attitudes and dream of happy and strong family that I that which to you is necessary.

X2 , if the person interests you , make the first move.. they may be more shy than you , and you have nothing to lose , except maybe 5 minutes of your time typing something out
The brain refuses to shut down , and is constantly working , thinking , active.. once you get the activity to subside in your noggin , you'll sleep a lot better.
My trick is to do nothing that requires heavy thinking or thought from 8pm onwards , so im settled by 9 , also , be physically active , work up as much of a sweat as possible , exercise bike , speed walking , calisthetics , swimming etc.. exercise sucks the big hairies , but at night , with a calm mind and a spent body , sleep will happen quickly , but dont expect results overnight , it should take a few weeks.
Many thanx to those who turned up , sorry i didnt hang around but was too tired to fight the sleepy bug that had bitten me. Did make the drive home ok tho.
