We hate shopping so we prefer to spend as little time as possible in there.
Personally I think its just a state of mind. Birthdays used to bother me until i realised they are something worth celebrating because some people don't make to that age.
I also think you have to live each day as if its your last.

Michael Noonan said today that Greece were in a worse position than Ireland and they needed this more than we do. He also said that this will take Greece ten years to recover from and to pay off their debts whereas it will take us a lot less. How true that actually is I don't know though.
Would it still be an unacceptable practice if it was any other party apart from Fianna Fáil? Do we know FOR A FACT Morgan got anything in return for his donation apart from a photograph and a meet and greet with Brian Cowen? I'm not taking about rumour and speculation here. Morgan was subsequently convicted of fuel smuggling and tax evasion so I highly doubt he got any special treatment from FF.
None of the other candidates would have done it because they were higher up in their respective parties. Gallagher was basically a volunteer or a gofer (and not a bagman as you said previous because that suggest something illegal and what Gallagher did was not illegal) before advancing to the national executive commitee.
If you think that the other parties don't do the exact same thing (solicit donations and then send someone to collect the money) then you must be very naiive

That is a good point actually. They do cost millions which come out of the taxpayer's pocket and into the solicitors pocket, they take ages to conclude and more often than not, nothing is really done about the findings.
I think if you are unusure about how to vote on either the judges pay or the question about giving more powers to the government then its safer to vote NO.
To me the judges pay is a no-brainer so I wil be voting YES but on the increased powers to the government I think (still not sure) I will be voting NO because I am starting to think the government has too much power as it is.
I agree. I think if you break up on good terms then there is no reason why you can't be friends as long as both of you know where you stand.
I was friends with my ex before we got together and I would like us to continue to be friends in the future. In fact when we first met, we agreed that no matter what happens we would try and always be friends. Unless someone treats you badly or vice versa then I don't see any reason why you can't be friends if both parties still want to be that is.
Clear to who? I'm assuming you have proof because as far as I can see, its Gallagher's word against Morgan's. Personally I would be more inclined to believe the word of a respected businessman over someone who was convicted of a crime.

Good point. One could also argue that just by talking to someone on the forums you are connecting with them too.The word "connecting" could cover a multitude of things.
