I think the last thing the area needs right now is more people maybe wait untill the crisis eases then see what you can do , Most uneffected hotels and accomadation will be taken up with homeless Nice thought but perhapos a little premature
I was watching the weather and it looks like there is more rain in northern territory thru the centre western qld again such as there was preceeding this catastrophic event , I hate to be the bearer of even worse news but correct me if im wrong , wont this weather pattern result in the same result in a few weeks?There is also a cyclone brewing in the coral sea and we all know what that means .I feel we may have only just seen the tip of the iceburg with this insane weather , victoria is also experianceing some flooding and a servere weather warning heavy rains predicted for SA Anoother question I have for those more educated in the geographical workings of our continent is this , will all this water head south? towards the southern states , we too have had heaps of rain in the last 4 months so our grounds here are soggy... The ramifications of this event are many and far reaching I feel the true effects will resound for months if not years ,What of the mossie plauges ,Disease, depresssion, the sewage spills the power outages , the oil and petrol in the ocean the enviromental impact for the farming and agricultural communities I mean all the topsoil will have washed away, the price of food will soar What else can we expect ???

AS OF 7 AM 100 THOUSAND HOMES WILL BE WITHOUT POWER IN bRISBANE ....Not good people , This is going to effect people the economy and our entire nation for many many months I hope everyone does what they can to assist Good luck to you all

I was talking to a friend yesterday and we have both come to the conclusion that internet dating is filled with people who have emotional issues and mental illnesses , now settle petals Im not saying everyone just a high percentage .I am going to post this on the internationals to get a broader picture but Im pretty sure we will see the same results ....
