CS is a very small community - there aren't many members who post regularly. It would be nice to see more members from different countries. CS is now some cozy coffee shop where you come regularly for a coffee and a chat, if you like the place and people (or at least some/most of them), until you get bored and find another place or something different that will occupy your time. It would be nice if it could become something bigger - a restaurant, maybe? More people mean more dynamic discussions and - more opportunity to meet someone (after all - this supposed to be a dating site).
I also think that people should have a profile photo. I know that some people like to stay anonymous, but it's simply different to talk to someone 'with a face' and without it. It will also stop people wondering whether someone is a fake profile or if someone uses several profiles to post, etc. There are many forums all over the internet that allow avatars and I think that CS should also - either allow avatars or make the 'profile photo required' rule. It doesn't have to be some 'special photo' - any photo would do. I know that it's much more relaxing to post without a photo or with an avatar and - at first - it was weird for me too - to post using a personal photo, but then - you simply get used to it. It's not that scary.
I think that one has more control over their blogs than threads. You can delete the blog or even some posts on the blog (I think). You can also disable comments, making it a sort of a diary. On forums you can only hide comments or ban someone from your thread, but you have no control over your thread. You cannot close it or delete it.
I think that people tend to be more serious on blogs. It's easier to discuss any serious topic there. Forums are much more dynamic, with more controversial and funny threads. People talk more openly on forums, they are less polite, more direct, but also - I would say - less vain. Nobody cares whether their threads are 'popular', have a dozen or hundreds of posts, who posted and what was posted - as long as the discussion is going on. Blogs are much smaller community and people are more sensitive to 'popularity' and interpersonal relationships.
In general, I think that CS community is not that large - at least people who more or less regularly post on forums and blogs - and very soon get to know each other. It would be nice if CS would have more members from various countries. It would be much more interesting. I think that - due to CS being a small community - people get bored easily - both on blogs and forums.
That is true. We can find love in the most unexpected places.
I want something to last. For me, the hardest thing is when you start to feel that you are growing apart, that the feelings fade away and you cannot do anything about it. I want a never-ending story.
I envy people who go from one relationship into another, from one date into another, like strolling through the park - now picking up this flower and enjoying its smell, now listening to that bird's song, now resting under that tree, but their journey never ends and they don't want it to end. Just travelling from one person to another. What lucky, lucky people!
I always got ENFJ on MBTI Personality Test, but I've been seriously started to think that - maybe - I'm turning into INFJ lately.
So, I took the test again today and - I'm still ENFJ, but it seems that I'm more an ambivert (extraverted 53% introverted 47%). I've never paid attention to that before, so I suppose that is the reason why I sometimes feel more like an introvert than like an extrovert...
Aren't people usually uninterested in receiving unwanted/unsought love? Or you don't mean - romantic love, but love in general, love given from one human being to another?
My hear was around the waist until a few years ago when I started dyeing it. Then it became too weak, so I had to cut it and it's now like here on my photo - around the middle of my back. It was a difficult decision for me, since I had long hair all my life. But, I got used to it.
I don't send initial messages. I've recently sent a link to one blog to the person I had chatted here on the forums on one thread - simply because I knew it would interest him. Otherwise, I think that men are not shy creatures and that they know what they want, so if they don't contact me initially - that means that they are not interested in me. I see no point in messaging them first.
I used to receive many messages on my previous profile - I had a more detailed profile and different photos - but - like everyone else - mostly from fake profiles. I would receive a message from a real person once in a while, but rarely we had something in common or wanted the same things. Or we were simply - too far away.
I've got a little tired of messaging lately, so I blocked almost everyone - left only several destinations and narrow age group. My Inbox is peaceful and quiet at the moment.
From some reason, one cannot use other alphabets on CS. They always appear as ?????? . Maybe because the site is old so it does not support other languages...
I tried to type a message in Japanese once and it also turned out like: ?????? So does the Cyrillic alphabet, apparently.
My native language is Serbian (and, of course, I understand Croatian, Bosnian and Montenegrin). I speak English, although still make plenty of mistakes, especially when I type/talk fast. I speak Japanese, but I'm far from proficient. I'm learning German at the moment.
I use English every day. Japanese changed my perspective of the world.
I think that speaking foreign languages allows you to meet people from different cultures and to learn about different values, so that you can reevaluate the ones you adopted in your own culture.
