I will say it again, the right to bear arms in America's Constitution is there for a good reason...It was implanted as a scar from the atrocities that Americans suffered from the red coats(Brits).
Imagine some extreme situation in the dark future, and you were unable to protect yourself from an intruder or some imperialistic government...

My girlfriend from high school did that. We hugged and she tried to lift me up only to accidentally squeeze one out. Somehow, I was turned on by the incident...not really....
Good post and I agree. America and it's institutions are so beyond in the need for a new direction. One little step is better than giant step backwards....
It's a process, and it will only speed up once Americans are broke...then they will be out for BLOOD....in a revolutionary way..
So I started to read the thread...then stopped...seen these kinds of debates in other forums and they go no where. Nobody is gong to change nobody.
Change comes from within....anyways Indyfella, I gather that you are a Repub and I have no quarrels with that.
I am not here to coerce anyone, stereotype anyone, or judge anyone because of their political views. Diverse political views are essential for a healthy Democracy in America. I should emphasize diverse...like more political parties....and no I am not a pro-socialist.
Don't even ask, cause I am off the charts radical/liberal. My solutions are too radical for anyone to comprehend.
