I'll start a thread on Karma someday to clear this up. I have a feeling our definitions differ....it's not all about getting back what you do to others.

Hi breezee....don't believe everything you hear sweetheart. Regarding what you heard about the astral plane that we go to after we die, that can be true depending on the individuals Karma....it can be proven scientifically.... some day. And astral planes do not work in ascending or descending orders....

Very interesting question. Hmmmmm....I would say yes because of our ability to be open and tune into the vibes that are out there. Artists love to search and be as an expression so that we feel and become the energies around us to master our art. Now that I think about a few the legendary singers or bands, they were indeed more spiritual than the average person.
Yes you can. If you ask, seek and align yourself, it will come. It all there in the archives of the human experience in our universe....from the past and future which is the same if you discard time as a concept. Think as reference points.
Just to add in my own words outside of theosophy, is that there exists an infinite amount of astral planes that are simultaneous with ours. It may be in the future, past, and a parallel lifetime.
A lot of those astral planes we go to is determined by our Karmic energy and vibration connected with our journey. So we are gravitated to an astral plane in line with our karmas that we need to work out.
It's like this, think of your TV, think of the channel you are tuned into. Meanwhile there are about 50 other channels showing programs. You can't see them, but they all exist. You can't see them because you are not tuned into those channels. You can only watch or experience the channel you are tuned into or watching. And you are watching that particular channel for a reason.....catch my drift?
Maybe for you, but not for me....and yes very perplexing indeed. Yes, focus on the now because that is what we can control with your thoughts and actions....good or bad and in between.
The more questions we ask the more questions are brought up. It seems to be never-ending. We will probably never be able to understand it at all in this astral plane of cruel vibrations. There will always be more complicated concepts just beyond our reach. Yet for me and my crazy-insatiable curiosity that is the excitement of the search and the adventure of probing the unknown. I aint stoppin on this journey.
Seems like God, the Force, the generating power plant of All That Is, known by many names, is also curiosity. Curiosity is an incredible force. So when you take the most powerful force that is, and use just part of it, that curiosity is capable of manifesting in physical form anything that the force puts its attention on. So therefore you have a myriad of lifeforms, because the God Force is a very curious force. And the fact of thought at all, thinking of anything, takes it to manifestation. The thought creates, and we are one of many, many, many thoughts.
We are part of the source, but not the truth. We are connected to the god source, but we are not at the source level.
If you or I knew the complete truth, we would not have a vibration that would allow us to be in this astral plane and discussing this topic in this forum.
We are not human beings on a spiritual journey. We are spiritual beings on a human journey. The earthly ways inthis astral plane could be one of the toughest experiences in our convoluted universe.
It is not contradictory. We all share the same energy, so in a sense there is some truth to it. A drop to the sea we are...make any sense? It's a Hindu saying that makes sense and should answer your question. We are the drop of water in the air, and the Source is the sea.....
Oh so very true....I know by experience....I took away the family life part in your post to highlight and compliment a parallel point...but I totally agree with your post in it's entirety.

I am not a Christian or a Muslim, but I do like how Jesus and Muhammad stated that we can never understand God if the truth were told to us....it would be too mind blowing and we are not spiritually evolved enough to comprehend the capacity of such a truth considering our paradigms and perceptions of God, our universe, our science, and ourselves.
Maybe because not all people are religiously devout. Marriage is something that was concieved out of religion. Considering the divorce rate here in Sweden and America, I would venture to say that marriage is seen as something that is not as sacred as it used to be.
Plus, living together first is a wise choice to see how the relationship evolves or dissolves when a couple lives together...kinda like a true test.
Here in Sweden, many couples move in together within a month of dating! Mostly the issue with that is economical, but that kind of fast move in is something that I can never roll with.
Why should couples get married first before moving in together? Who gets to decide? Who gets the benefit of the doubt?
