I was reading all the posts in here and ...it's sad! This is the type of conversation I avoid to get into, because it does get to me. I am Romanian and for being part of East Europe, this kind of topic does jump up from time to time.
As a person that is living in various parts of the world, it is sad to see that some people can be plain negative.... Generalizing is the easiest way but it's ignorant.
Do you know how many north americans ( or Europeans, for that matter) live in Far East, Middle East or Asia? And they are influencing the local cultures by not learning the language and inducing irreparable changes. But it's easyer to point the finger and say " mexicans" I guess! What I am seeing is there is always a bad side and a good side of the things and if you chosse to focus on the bad side....well, this is what you get.
Somebody was saying earlier she refused to learn spanish just because the town was invaded with immigrants; i would say that was her loss.
Embrace the changes, make the best of what you have...and look for the positive things! I almost feel like a gypsy, living few years in each place, but I am grateful for what I learned and people I met....and in essence, we're all the same, mexicans, asians, middle easterns, europeans...
1. Why abbreviation is such a long word? 2. Why Kamikaze soldiers wear helmets? 3. Why do they sterilize the needles for the death penalty injections? 4. What’s the synonym of the word synonym? 5. Let's face it, most of us are visuals, for various reasons - either we are vain, or we look for a spark of chemistry or we just need a push....
I usually search the profiles that have a photo listed....does that make me vain? It's just one criteria I use, I suppose.
I would use that opening line to approach a man; of course I would like to know him and to be known by him; Takes couple of emails and you feel if there is mutual interest and spare both of you of an unpleasant meeting. I guess you need a bit of everything, otherwise what would you do with a great personality and top intelligence and zero physical chemistry? You would run just the same!
