The good thing of living in a small community is people are able to make fun of such things ...And you're still alive many years after, so I assume they let yolu go on that one.
I tend to have much more contact with reality in the real world
Gee, that was a well thought thought
What i mean, for me is easier to get carried away in the virtual world...not necesarely a bad thing, as in real life I tend to dimiss everybody at a fingersnap sometimes
what i am saying is that in VR is easier to get carried away for the wrong reasons.
In real world, you can get carried away even quicker, but somehow you can veryfy the cryterias you're applying ....heck, might fall in love with the way a man move his hands when he's talking , but I know that he is actually doing that, so there's a real base for my feeling
and by thus, making the whole VR mating process even more complicated, as all the seasoned, matured, stable individuals also prove to be slow , undecissive, hessitant, extremely cautious and ......scared of commitment.... Eventually, the human race as we know it , perrished
Then one day, a couple of years in to our relationship... I found out that he had lied to me, long before ever having met, about something pretty major. I was devastated, and broke it off shortly thereafter. Any and all trust was nuked. Done.
This happens in real life too, unfortunately...
There is no guarantee you'll be protected from harms and people are unique...I take it as one of those rocks life's placing in your path..... been there, done that, look forward for a new experience
We can aquire information on VR, just not sure of the accuracy of it. I guess it all boils down to trust, openess, knowing how to keep it real and , if interested, creating the RL experience to solidify the base....
People are different and for some, online chatting can be easier thanb real life talking...they get to sharte more and open up better. In my case, I don't think I'll ever get the real person from an online conversation...I usually get my idea of that person...and most of the cases it's way different than the reality.
The infatuation kicks in after few chats and then it's even harder to be objective...
I would definitely love to know in real life somebody that I loved interacting to, in the virtual world, but keep in mind the possibility that he can be different than what I know of him or , it might just luck the spark, even if he's accurately portrayed in my mind...

Depends on what you mean by that
