The most important decision for me was to make the move to get a job overseas because it was what I really wanted. I got the job, sold all my stuff, packed up and left the States. Now I am living my dreams and am very happy. I think most people are afraid to follow their dreams...sad...as they say, you only live once. I can't imagine living your whole life wishing and dreaming for something else.
This is the only one the best one the one for me.....huh? what other nothing thread....way too much of nothing...two threads....oh deary now I'm confused...
Probably just about as good to give advice as the rest of us.....no one really has the answers....just our own experiences and the brains and senses through which we have filtered them....
Wow, someone was way out of line saying you are a scary guy and have no right to give advice on marriage.. ....people who have been cautious and waited and not jumped into marriage are well equipped to give advice about this....because they have probably thought about it a lot and been in situations where they could have chosen to marry but didn't because it was the wrong decision. And being ill doesn't make you scary or disqualifiy you for a relationship---just like the rest of us, you just need to find the right person.....
If there has been some actual touching, then I am with Mastic, this is a red light. If he is on the up and up, and he is attracted to you, then he would ask you out, or for coffee, or something. So, I change my whole position and say walk the other way.
Well, I guess if I had to choose just one modern thing to eliminate, it would have to be the atomic bomb. Think it is still an issue and best gotten completely rid of...
Again, my advice, and my policy, after making a few mistakes myself, is to get to know him just as a person and friend, before you even think about dating....if he has issues or something he is hiding, you will find out then...
Even so, if you are still a student at the school, he may feel it is not appropriate to date any students at the school---trying to keep his personal life and professional life separate---safety for him in keeping his job...a serious issue for him. What's the policy at the school? Do other instructors date students? Is it accepted or not?
