I know you didn't intend to start a thread talking about women being nags....it just seemed to get redirected that way. And it isn't only women who can be nags, men do it too.
Back to the question...can men and women live without each other...physically, a lot of us do, at least temporarily, some permanently. But in order to keep the species going, we must mate. However, men and women want to be together, so I don't think , emotionally, we can live without each other, because we don't want to. It's a natural thing to want a mate.
okay....as i said, i was in such a relationship, was hit, left,went back,hit again, a few times.....i think i had a psychological problem because I was raised to accept violence from males....but that is how i judge myself...i won't say i know enough about it to make declarations about others....

Yes, they are afraid of leaving a bad relationship....so I guess they stay not because they accept it but because they are afraid to leave...that must be some kind of psychological problem too though, isn't it? I don't know...just wondering, just asking...
You don't like it...cause you are a normal healthy person with self esteem...I do believe there are people, both male and female, who accept an abusive relationship because they are sick psychologically....
what I meant was that when they drive away the ones who don't want to be treated badly, they always seem to end up finding someone else...either someone who hasn't yet realized what they are really like or someone who likes or accepts being treated badly...
I think some men and women, some couples, bring out the worse in each other...then there are some people who are just mean and selfish...but they seem to find someone anyway...they find someone who likes to be treated badly i think....
