sorry- if it worked, i know frm personal experience, some people who wuldn't have died- good, very religious people, who were heavily involved in the church and helping others, pray cnstantly, doing good works for the church and not thinking of themselves.
but if it works for you..... then I say 'go for it',
I do believe that a positive attitude to your own survival goes a long way though
Run run, as fast as you can= once you get in here you'll never get away.( ok so you won't want to, but sleep, food and everything else may go by the wayside )
or else, just come in , behave yourself and have fun
depends- which date?- if you mean the first- regardless of where you go, what you do, it is just kind of checking each other out, seeing if there is any spark/chemistry, getting to know each other a little. i think yu know very quickly if there is a possibility there. (Not that that means it WILL go anywhere, and it may grow even if there seems like nothing to start with, but in general- at least you can tell if you'ld like to kiss them that first date!!)
English, some very poor schoolgirl frnech ( though i was taught how to swear fluently travelling from paris to nice, by some lads on national service ). and i am being forced into learning a amidgen f irish to make sure my kids aren't being rude to me!!
i am terrified of how the increase in guns in this country has led to rise in gun related crimes- mainly amnog the criminal element, but recently some young kids have been caught in the crossfire. also children are children- you can teach them till you are blue in the face about how guns are for adults etc etc, but that won't take away their natural curiosity. if your nighbours child accidentally shoots yours- will you feel any better that your dead) child knew that guns were not safe for kids?
having guns readily available, means that a petty argument that may have ended in a punch up, is more likely to end up in shootings and death- I know what i'm talking about- i worked in a surgical unit in a majr US city and the number of gun shot victims i looked after, where the cause of the shooting was ridiculous things like a game of cards played in stifling temperatures with alcohol taken, would disgust any reasonable person
one big regret is leaving texas and moving back to Scotland- i had a great life- worked nly 3 nights a week, but made good $$, had a nice apt., lots of friends, good weather, etc but my family thought it was time'i stopped living a holiday life and setled down and bought a flat' etc..... another is switching my major at university from psychology- which i lved- to zoology- which my dad was a lecturer in at the same uni-, and hating it.
what i learned was you have to live your life for yourself, not others.
i regret not making a move from my marriage sooner, but none knows if it would have been better or worse for the kids if they had been younger.
yes- i was hospitalised last christmas day ( great timing what with all those bikes to get put together ), with pleurisy ( infection/inflammation of the two linings of your lungs- damn sore let me tell you) and pneumonia. I was told i had 'community acquired pneumonia' which as a district nurse, isn't that strange i suppose.
hey! I trained at Galsgow royal infirmary and they taught me notning about long distance running( ok , i may be old but i wasn't ther in WW2!!), or playstation. those tutrs obviously didn't know what they were talking bout!
over the years- one of the nolans , I think the hairstyle said it all....sandra beirnheart ( now that i took offence to ), george michaels long lost twin sister??, julia roberts( had long hair, fully made up and was looking 100% better than usual, but still i think there was a too few many heinekins down that lads throat that night, but still, i can live with that comparison!! plug... from the bash street kids..though that was my brothers calling me that so i suppose i should let that slide
i must just have 'one of those faces'...everyone knows somen that looks 'just like me'
RE: say in a sentence how you feel at this moment.
just where would you be going that you'ld want to wear a chicken tonight jacket ?
