When i was younger i used to care so much about what other people will think and say if i date someone from a different race.
Now i don't really care.I mean if there's someone who should understand more, it is I who come from a race that has been discrimated for a relatively long period.
I agree with anyone who says that it's not the color or race, it's what inside that counts. As long as two people get along well, are there to stick it out with each other, slug through the tough times and repeat the happy times, who are we to judge?
on a seemingly selfish note, we don't choose to be someone because we want to please people(although, this happens at times), we choose to be with someone because we want to please ourselves.
Don't think i want to change anything. There have been really tough times but hey, i learned from them. I guess I'm treating those things the same as i would treat the happy and easy times.
Keeping the relationship intact invloves a conscious and lifetime decision from the people involved to stick it out with each other. the cliche 'it takes two to tango' would be applicable.
