And about the her ranting about how good friends you guys are, well don't be surprised. I have had more than a few people who I was completely rude to and made it very clear how much I despised them, and yet they'd ask if they could sit with me at lunch and things like that... Hm... I am a jerk after all, lol. The point is that they tend to delude themselves, which is part of why they suck at life. They get bit in the gluteus maximus down the road, sometimes repeatedly, and hopefully ponder "Hey, I suck. Maybe I should change my attitude?".
Good luck. Remember though, you're not stuck there, you always have a choice. Life may be uncomfortable for a while, but you always have a choice to leave and find a better work environment.
It's the way it is, unfortunately. Online dating is something that you have to tread cautiously with, even more so than "regular" dating (By which I mean having met the person in real life first). Like an earlier post stated - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I'm not saying don't have hope, just be careful. Most of all, just have fun and don't take it too seriously, especially not at first.
I take 7 workout classes. They're usually pretty fun, and you can also do things at your own pace. If a certain movement is too hard, you just change it so it's easier for you.
1) Total Body Condition - Probably one of the most intense workouts... ever. We use exercise balls, medicine balls, steps, weights, weighted bars, and a some aerobics and pilates. This one wears me out 2/3's of the time.
2) Tai Chi Chih - This is pretty simple, almost boring stuff. Chih is an americanized version that cut all the martial arts stuff out of it and cropped a lot of the moves from Tai Chi Chuan from it.
3) Salsa - It's salsa dancing, what else needs to be said? Lol. Lot's of fun.
4)Zumba - The guy who invented it took almost every latin dance he could and mixed them together with hip hop and other stuff. It's a lot of fun and it's for all ages.
5) Tennis - 'Cuz.... Tennis is awesome. lol.
6) Jazz Dance - Very flashy, pretty fun stuff.
7) NIA - This one is supposed to be a good workout involving mixes of Yoga, Tai Chi, Alexander Technique, some martial arts, and dances... but whether it's high energy or not depends on your teacher. Who I have now is pretty slow... to the point of me being bored sometimes.
That and I walk to all my classes from my dorm room and I go hiking when I can.

I've heard a million different theories, but sometimes it just comes back to basic instincts. The alpha male is the aura that "bad boys" tend to project. Women tend to be attracted to that . There's also the fact that the nurturing side comes out in the sense that they want to "heal" the bad boy's wounds, or fix him up and make him a better part man... which is a little funny when you think about how people should want who they're dating for who they are, not who they can be changed to be. The earlier post had a bit of merit it to it as well, nice guys tend to be more shy and let the woman make the first move. I can say from personal experience that when you actually walk up to the gal and start talking to her, you're love life will increase a pretty good number. You'll still get some rejection, but that's life. A fool focuses on the 99 who say no, the wise man focuses on the one who says yes... or however that phrase goes, lol.
As most people have stated, just pick another song. The Numa Numa song or Crazy Loop does wonders for me.
Ps: I really feel your pain as that "I kissed a girl" song is not only really annoying, it's on all the time, so even if you do get it out of your head it'll be on again when you walk by someone who's got their radio cranked up, lol.
It's about overcoming weakness with strength. If you are determined enough you can overcome your insecurities. Understand that you will <i><b>never</i></b> be able to please everyone, so just be the person that makes <i>you</i> happy. It's not an overnight thing, but with time you'll understand just how awesome you are/can be and a lot of the inferiority feelings will go away.
So I'm currently taking a few dance classes myself (Salsa, Jazz, and a few workout/dance classes like Zumba and NIA) and was just curious what others were interested in. I'm also curious of the Male/Female ratio of dancers since I'm the only male in most of my current and past dance lessons.
