I'd say just give him time. I've had it happen where the gal signed on and viewed my e-mail (You can check this in your inbox's 'sent' section if you're curious) and then replied a few days later. If he doesn't then it's time to move on. I met a gal on here that was beautiful, intelligent, and witty, pretty much the whole package, but she mysteriously stopped talking to me after exchanging more than a few e-mails. It sucks and it hurts, but lamenting about it doesn't really help so you just have to trudge along.
Well when you think about how many people are out there that just don't even look at your e-mail it makes sense. I think for every 10 I send out I may get one or two back. I don't break any hearts or just stop ignoring them if I find one that becomes special to me, I let them know that friendship is all that will happen for now. I'm not saying woman have it easier, but they tend to get a lot more of the first contacts than us guys do.
Indeed, but it takes forever to learn it, I am pretty damn stubborn though so it's only a matter of time
And yeah... I never really got into the clubbing scene, mostly because I'm secretly an old man in a 22 year-old body and can't stand the music being so loud that I can't hear myself think, I still do it once in a while but I have to be in the mood for it. I'm actually starting a nightclub dancing class this Friday (I'm curious okay? lol)
So I did something similar with dancing, but here's another topic I'm curious about. I'd love to do Capoeira the most since the whole reason I do any dancing at all is because I can't find a teacher for it out here in Prescott. The whole dancing/martial arts mix is awesome to me. For fighting though I'd have to go with Jeet Kun Do (Bruce Lee's style) because of it's freedom to it (No Kata's just pure flowing power). Well vote and stuff.
Yeah... funny story is I've learned do to a lot of belly dancing on accident, lol. See if you ever watch a lot of the Latin dances you'll notice hip movements for guys and gals. Well my teacher never explained that they were using their legs to do that, so I used my ab muscles instead and managed to develop some belly dancing moves. So when one of the other students in a later semester tried showing off her belly dancing moves I was like "Hey I can do that" and she looked at me like I was an idiot, but then I did the moves. It wasn't until I took salsa lessons (The moves I developed were in Zumba) that I discovered I'd been doing it wrong lol.
If you get a chance to then do Zumba. It depends on your teacher, but I've had three different ones (One girl focused on hip hop, one guy focused on salsa and hip movements, and the other girl focuses on salsa/merengue movements) and I've enjoyed them all. Improves your coordination a lot too which is nice since I used to trip over my size 14's a lot more in the past.
I'd prefer it if she took my name, but it wouldn't be a marriage breaker if she didn't. It's one of those things we'd discuss long before we got married and if there was some problem that was irreconcilable (Like her wanting me to take her name) then we probably weren't meant to be together after all
It's true, and at the least you can make a new friend. I have no desire to date someone who already have children, and I know it's an a**hole thing to say, but I know that I'm not ready to be in the "father" shoes quite yet. Big brother and uncle positions I can and have been to the children/younger siblings of my friends. I have a lot of "adopted" siblings and nephews/nieces for my friends children and my best friends have made it clear I'm Godfather to their children, but I'm not ready to be a father yet. I'm always willing to make friends with those that do though. I don't think that every woman will want a family, in fact I've met several who flat out say they will never want kids. It's something to ask early on and if they already have children it's something they should tell you early on, I understand if they're scare you'll leave them, but if they hold off on telling you then that just will make it worse as time goes on.
Hm.. I shouldn't type when I'm this tired. This turned into a rant Guess I need my nap before I head off to my next class.
True true, hence why I stuck to the Mac/Windows thing. If people can't figure out systems that they've been using for years, thrusting Linux at them won't help, .
True, but Linux is hard to get average computer users on. Then there's the whole open-source thing so they tend to have different tweaks and compatibility depending on where you get them from. Then there's the fact that a lot of people have never even heard of it, so I figured I'd just keep to the Mac and Windows stuff and keep it somewhat simple,
Hi pot, this is kettle, you're black. Give the guy a little bit of slack. When you get out of a relationship as badly as he did, it stings a lot. While I don't agree even a tiny amount with his passing them up for that reason, I can understand where he comes from.
That's horrible! What happened to honor, integrity, honesty, courage, things like that? I'm happy you are at least able to see them and are close with them, but your ex did a pretty messed up thing.
It also depends on what you use them for. PC's are a worse due to Windows being on them and the Windows OS if far inferior to the Mac OS, but unfortunately for Macs, Windows has the highest compatibility with programs.
Mac's almost never crash, almost never get viruses, and have one of the most powerful OS's around.
PC's are the opposite, but they have more programs available. Then again, they lost a lot of compatibility with the programs they used to have when they made Windows Vista.
So I lean towards Mac because it's amazing, but I do have a laptop with Vista because I have to use a PC with my college's programs.
Damn straight! Unfortunately I've met a lot of feminists who were all about equality unless in hindered them. Equal = Equal, I'm not saying men shouldn't pay or not, I'm saying men shouldn't have to pay.
RE: Looks as if the party is winding down...
Sounds like fun, lucky you
