What makes you look at a profile?

Mine was probably made of brass knowing my ex...he treated me like a brass often...

I can not polish mine as I threw them into the sea, watched them float away and waved bye to that chapter of my life...

How many of you still wear your rings?

I understand that some guys that are widowers etc leave their rings on....

There was just something not ringing true about this guy and his shiny new ring....

A love at first sight story...

My Mom was a real beauty in the late sixties...
She applied for a Yacht Stewardess position with a holiday yacht firm that sailed the rivers of Europe....The Rhine etc...
This was her first time away from home.....

My Dad had done a season already for the company as a chief marine engineer....

Mom had a really rough crossing to the Hook of Holland to join the boat...
As she ran past my father looking very green to the Head (loo) totally unaware of my father, he took one look at her...warned every other guy off and announced she is mine...I am going to marry that girl...

He pursued her with avengance....till she gave in and went out with him, he reeled her in...Poor mum did not stand a chance the naive young girl away from home by herself for the first time..Dad was this very flash, worldly, confident, highly entertaining, very good looking young man...

He whisked her to Switzerland and placed a diamond on her finger...Mum always jokes she missed a weekend with her pals to Amsterdam, she should have left Dad with his mistress
His Mistress is the Sea

He got his girl....

What draws you first when reading/looking at a persons profile...

For me it is the eyes and smile in a photograph...

To me the eyes are the window to a persons soul....

Yesterday I had a mail from a guy who had a wedding ring on clearly in his photograph...that sent me warning bells and made me run a mile in the opposite direction...
