RE: President Obama promisses federal support for rebuilding hurricane destructed areas in America.

The real state of the economy.

Much much much worse than either party admits.

When all the debts and liabilities are taken into consideration the US really owes something like 600 trillion. Not the 20 trillion most often cited.

There can be no "recovery".
Only a collapse.

This is the change that Bush and Obama have brought us.

RE: The new mailbox design- awful!

Several times, I closed the mailbox thinking I would come back to the forums, (it used to work that way).

But now I find myself having to re-enter the site.

RE: This subject is on backstabbers:-(

I had not experienced backstabbing for decades but in the music business here in France I got a lot of fresh wounds.

RE: Here the season is opened!

Beautiful sunny warm summer-like day today. Temperature is perfect
hot sun but cool wind. People have been swimming in the lake for a couple of weeks already.

All my truths are absolutely relative.

RE: President Obama promisses federal support for rebuilding hurricane destructed areas in America.

Back in my boyscout days I was a bugler and played taps (and other calls) at campouts, big meetings, and special ceremonies.

I think nowadays they do it like this.

RE: President Obama promisses federal support for rebuilding hurricane destructed areas in America.

I'm not "hateful".
I'm just not deluded.
But that looks like "hateful" to those who are.

RE: President Obama promisses federal support for rebuilding hurricane destructed areas in America.

Nice story, but it isn't true.
Taps was adapted from an earlier bugle call by a guy named Butterfield.

Dude's "source" link doesn't even work.
Firefox can't find the server at unationaljournal.com.

I wonder if Dude can even speak Danish.

RE: President Obama promisses federal support for rebuilding hurricane destructed areas in America.

Well, I for one, do certainly oppose legislation to regulate CO2.

It's not a pollutant, it's the ordinary by product of respiration and of the oxidation of organic matter. More CO2 is produced by the decomposition of dead vegetation than man could ever imagine producing.

Every volcanic eruption emits more CO2 in a few hours than man produces in a year.

And despite all the various natural and manmade sources, CO2 constitutes only 388/1,000,000 of the earth's atmosphere.

Besides being only a small fraction of the atmosphere, although CO2 is indeed a greenhouse gas, it is not a very active one.

The most abundant and strongest of the greenhouse gases is water vapor.

CO2 is in no way causing the earth to warm.
If the earth is warming at all it is the sun doing the warming, as always. Climate fluctuates continually and earth's temperature correlates perfectly to sunspot activity.

The earth has been much warmer and much colder than it is now, and the world didn't end.

I don't think taxpayers should support any of the "global warming" tax legislations. They are all boondoggles to justify taxe money from the people and they cannot in any way stop the earth from warming. Nor is there any reason to think that the earth shouldn't warm. The medieval warm period was a prosperous time for humanity. And it had nothing to do with CO2.

Who put the "G" in G8

Yes, unfortunately they exist.
I've seen some with my own eyes.

I'm not my type.

RE: President Obama promisses federal support for rebuilding hurricane destructed areas in America.

Gloomy economic news.
May results are in and the rug has been jerked out from under all the hype about an imagined US economic recovery.

Things are getting worse not better.
And there is still a long way to fall before America gets her feet on the ground.

RE: Can USA pay its highest debt in the world?

When donkeys fly.

RE: Can USA pay its highest debt in the world?

The globalist (G8) powers are like a group of gunslingers drinking and gambling in a saloon.

They lost all their gold long ago, and since then they have been using hand-written I-O-U-s to "pay" their debts.
Meanwhile they're shooting up the saloon, abusing the barmaids and gunwhipping anybody who dares to challenge them.
The other gamblers and the saloon owner know that they'll never see their money.
But drunk or not, the gunslingers are still the fastest guns around, and nobody wants to have to be the one to confront them and insist that they pay up.

Their attitude is "what are you bunch of ploughboys and shopkeepers gonna do about it?"

RE: Can USA pay its highest debt in the world?

Since the debt is all dollar-based the US could pay it off tomorrow just by printing up more dollars. And that's exactly what is happening. But the result is hyper-inflation and the dollar will lose all of its value long before the debt is "paid".

RE: Are we already living the global warming?

Yep.

RE: !!!!

Maybe they're not acting.

RE: America the Free????

That's one level. The next level will be where they use media shill like Alex Jones to stir up some real loonies and start to think of themselves as some sort of revolutionary movement. Like happened with the Weather Underground.

A few government provocateurs, a few assorted nuts, and a lot of explosives can justify martial law for a long time.

RE: America the Free????

Yeah right, a revolution against a superpower could just fall together in an afternoon.

If it did. It would be over by dinnertime.

I think Obama should.

But there aren't any real Danes who support him.

RE: America the Free????

Sure, it's the first half of "Free Beer".
