HOUSTON4: Ok now this is a subject that I know might get people thinking
Why bring this subject up
Well I think it is good to talk about these things because in everyday life we do come across backstabbers
Backstabbing is a horrible thing I mean how horrble the feeling is when you think someone is meant to be your friend and you can trust them only to find out that they stabbed you in the back
I have met a few backstabbers in my livetime and they are
I am a good,genuine and honest man and say what's on my mind.
I want to write threads about subjects that other people want to talk about but are to afraid to write about themselfs.
Now my question to you lot would be:
Have you ever been a victim of two face people?
Do you trust others on this site?
Would you forgive someone that stabbed you in the back if they seemed genuine and said sorry?
I know it seems like a negative subject to talk about but life can be negative sometimes

I have a former SIL who years ago when my late husband was still alive went behind my back and told him that I was supposed to have told her thet he wasn't a good provider and father.
I have another SIL who would run other family members down.

Peeps on here that want to dribble brail to you can't be very fortright and genuine small minority I'd say, there are heaps of peeps on here that are lovely caring folks just enjoy the interaction with them and the same applys in the real world.
Life's too short to be worried about a tiny group that have nothing better to do than back stab got to feel sorry for them.

They don't bother me cause I just view them as trying to set me up hoping I'll say something about the other person but I just delete the mail.
I'm well aware of backstabbers in real life.what they get out of it I'll never know.I suppose misery loves company so to speak.

who hasnt had an experience with "backstabbers" . Here on this site, do i trust anyone? yes , i do , I have made what i consider good caring friends. I may not have met them face to face but feel they are as trustworthy as the people I know in "real life" . Will they hurt me or betray me , chances are the same as in real life isnt it? I choose not to live my life concerned with who is going to hurt me in some way and choose to have these people in my life because I consider them friends and they have yet to show me otherwise.

I wouldn't call anymore on here my "friend". How can they be a true friend when they are behind a computer screen sometimes thousands of miles away. If people here are kind, that's how I think of them, if they start arguments, they won't get my attention. These are people I associate with. They're fun most of the time, but to me a friend is someone you can call at 3:00 a.m. when you need help.

Hmmm regarding myself I don't think I would allow that person back into my life I don't think I could feel the same around them anymore, time to move on that is how I feel. Life is hard enough without others causing grief.
To me a real friend would be up front an honest. Take my best friend she tells me what she says about me to other people especially when I don't know them I have a barny with her over whaterver topic it was we iron it out and we are ok and I have been guilty of same we just know we really care about each other and just looking out for each other like sisters that are real close not nasty stuff. Does that explain me? But to talk about me in a way that is hurtful only to find out later through other people that does hurt.------ This thread is Archived ------
