RE: How are the Bees in your country?

There was a lot of talk about the bees a couple of years ago but I haven't heard much about it lately.

I've been getting bees in my house for several weeks now and they all seem to be healthy and happy with the exception of one who was particularly upset about not being able to find his way back outside.

I've noticed both normal European honeybees and the indigenous alpine strain which is darker and thinner. The two strains interbreed as males from one hive join the mating swarm of another hive, so it's not unusual to find offspring of both types in a single hive.

I think the honeybee scare may be just one more case of artificially hyped-up global crisis, like the killer icelandic volcano, the disappearing gulf oil spill, the avian flu, the swine flu, SARS, H1N1, peak oil, etc etc etc.

Nowadays there always has to be some terrible crisis that is going to end all life on earth or people get bored and start to question things.

As for the genetically modified sterile plants, that's part of the big Monsanto conspiracy. Google "Nothing grown that we don't own" to see just how far-reaching that policy is.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Obama is the Danish messiah.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Faithfulness:
Dude, you really need to get to rehab....this obsession you have with Obama is quite out of hand.

Conrad73
But he works at one!

Yes, After staying up posting every night until 2 in the morning Danish time, he supposedly holds down a fulltime job working in a rehab center in Copenhagen.

Funny that he doesn't seem to know anything about politics in Denmark when he's such a self-proclaimed expert on American politics.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Well, thanks to Congress having done nothing to resist Bush's various unconstitutional legislations, executive orders, and presidential decision directives, it is now absolutely true that Congress cannot place any limits on the President. The US is already officially in a state of emergency (for many years now) and at any moment Obama can cite that state of emergency as a cause for seizing total control of all 3 branches of the government, and there is nothing Congress can do about it.

The dictatorship has already begun.
Both parties had a hand in creating it.

Obama, Acorn and SEIU

Thanks, I had a good Easter overnight date.
Hope you had a good one too.

On the subject of Obama and Cuba, see this letter from a Cuban American about Obama.

Obama, Acorn and SEIU

When he speaks to the general public Obama can seem like a normative American.

Example:
No hint of ethnic accent here.

But when he speaks to a predominantly black crowd of radical union activists he morphs, adopting a clearly faked African-American accent and ranting like a cross between a pentecostal evangelist and a communist agitator stirring people up for a revolution.

Obama is a true changeling. He adapts his persona to every situation, hiding his true nature and his true agenda which is to amass power though deception and corruption.

I have no liking for John McCain, but his campaign did do a pretty good exposé of Obama and his fraud.

Obama believes in planting nuts wherever they can grow and reproduce.

Politics of Obama are worse than...

And Obama's dirty snowball just keeps rolling downhill.

This just in:

Standard & Poor's announced its negative outlook on whether the U.S. will ever pay back its $14 trillion debt.

Although the official S&P credit rating on America is still AAA, the lowered outlook (from "stable" to "negative") means there is now a 30% chance that the U.S. will lose the coveted credit rating in the next two years.

As a result, the Dow dropped 200 points, the dollar dropped and gold gained $10 an ounce.

Standard & Poor's said it doubts that Obama and Congress will even agree on how to reduce the budget deficits before the 2012 Presidential elections. The credit rating company thinks that, even then, it would take until 2014 before a plan would have any impact.

Meanwhile, the debt would just keep mounting. It is already at 90% of GDP. Deficits from the FY 2011 and FY 2012 budgets would just add $1 trillion a year to that, pushing the debt beyond 100% of GDP in the next year or so.

Now mind you, the US is increasing its deficit every day.

When the debt surpasses the GDP it means that even if all domestic activity were consecrated to paying off the debt, it would not be able to do so.

The result will be bankruptcy in the next couple of years. In fact the nation is already bankrupt many times over, but if the credit rating drops other nations will stop buying US treasury notes and there will be no way to continue spending. The US economy will come to a grinding halt as happened in Iceland.

RE: Libya's strong man, Colonel Gadaffi is not giving up.What should be done to bring peace?

C'mon Conrad, we all know that Iraq is one of the bigger oil producing nations and the US has been taking it all ever since the invasion, considering it Iraq's way to pay for the privilege of being devastated, invaded and occupied.

As for Afghanistan, it's true that it doesn't have much oil, but it is the pipeline route to take Caspian Sea oil to the Indian Ocean for shipment to China and it's strategic for US military domination of Central Asia.

So yes, both Iraq and Afghanistan are about oil.

RE: Libya's strong man, Colonel Gadaffi is not giving up.What should be done to bring peace?

Libya's strong man, Colonel Gadaffi is not giving up. What should be done to bring peace?

The US should give him lots of money and weapons, like it does for Israel. That's bound to bring peace.

RE: Does The Classless Society Really Exist? Can It Ever?

Does The Classless Society Really Exist?

Sure.

Modern society has no class at all.

RE: blonds

How can you tell a blond has been using your computer in your absence?

Easy. There'll be white-out all over the screen.

RE: DON'T LOOK ....

DON'T LOOK ....

I didn't look.

RE: I will tell u something about stories

That word "true" is the real catch.

Many of the stories that shape our understanding are not true at all.

One of the biggest lessons of my life was to question every story and not accept any "truth" that I had not myself confirmed.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Yep. If Switzerland falls a lot of other dominoes will fall.

Of course the globalist crooks also have their own secret tax havens but they are secret.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Oh grandfart, what a big nose you have.
The better to stick it in your business, my dear.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Watch out Conrad,
The globalists are trying to shut down Swiss Banking secrecy.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

I'm not the only one who sees Obama's dictatorial tendencies.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

You guessed it.

Obama's getting crazier all the time.
Like Nixon in his last days, Obama hides from the cameras nowadays (except for his prepared media blurbs)
He certainly doesn't do any real interviews or answer any questions.
He's got that bunker mentality knowing that the public hates him.
I really and truly expect him to declare a crisis and seize dictatorial control in 2O12.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Dude's own poll in this thread shows just how unpopular Obama is.

Even Bush, bad as he was, managed to retain enough support to get re-elected. Obama can't even hope for that.

If he wants to stay in power he'll have to declare a national crisis and cancel the election.

RE: The Crucifixion....Fact Or Fiction?

Well, I really don't think Josephus wrote about Jesus earlier than all of the gospels.

He probably had access to at least some sort of written record of what the apostles were teaching if not to the actual gospel texts themselves. Apparently all of Jerusalem knew quite a bit about the teachings of the Christians. It was one of the biggest things happening.

RE: The Crucifixion....Fact Or Fiction?

All information about ancient times has to be given a wide margin of error when it comes to sources and dates etc. Often there's only one or two references from 3rd parties and a lot of hearsay.

I don't even believe the news of today at face value.
So I'm certainly not going to make any extraordinary claims about Josephus or what he wrote. I only mentioned him to point out that the OP was confused as to his name.

As far as I'm concerned the only words we can really count on in all history are the actual words of Christ himself.

RE: The Crucifixion....Fact Or Fiction?

Josephus wrote quite a lot about crucifixion in general, not so much specific to Christ but to the general Roman practice of crucifying people.

Here are his words about the actual crucifixion of Christ.

Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, [if it be lawful to call him a man;] for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher [of such men as receive the truth with pleasure,] He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. [He was the Christ.] And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, (9) those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; [for he appeared to them alive again the third day; (10) as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him.] And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.

He wrote a lot more about the early church which he described as a Jewish sect led by James the Just, whom he calls "the brother of Jesus". Josephus' history includes sections on "John the Baptist", "the High Priest Annas", "Pontius Pilate", and "Jesus called the Messiah".

Josephus describes Jesus as a teacher and miracle worker, whose large following in Judea revered him after his death.

Sorry if that's not extensive enough for you but even the disciples who travelled with Jesus only didn't write all that much.
One can read any of the gospels in a single sitting.

It's amazing that those few paragraphs have had so much effect on the world over the centuries isn't it?

RE: The Crucifixion....Fact Or Fiction?

Nothing has changed except the technology.

Nowadays they send people to gitmo for months and months of torture before then get around to killing them.

RE: The Crucifixion....Fact Or Fiction?

When you say "Johannes" don't you really mean "Josephus" the Jewish-Egyptian historian of the first century who reported extensively on the crucifixion and the history of the early church?

He wasn't present when any of the events occurred but he reported what he had heard.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Yep we had six more weeks of winter because when Gore came out of his hole he saw his own footprint.

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

RayfromUSA:
Dude, you criticize and insult Americans for the way they choose to vote in their own elections that won't affect you in any way. You imagine that you know more about American politics than Americans do.
Strange that.

By the way, how are you going to vote in the Danish election this year? Do you support Venstre, the Social Democrats, or one of the minor parties? And why?

Dude's response to that question:

I never EVER support right winged in Denmark and vote with decency and not with my buttom generally... laugh

For someone who is so zealous and supposedly informed on American politics it sure seems like you are fearfully sidestepping the question about politics in what you claim to be your own country.

Could it be that you don't even know what party stands for what in Denmark?????

I repeat the question.

Do you support Venstre, the Social Democrats, or one of the minor parties? And why?

RE: Obama or ... do America really want the new Republican landscape?

Well the eel in question is not even in the state of Denmark.
He just claims to be.

Fox news intentionally lied to viewers to try to discredit Ron Paul

After the deception had already been exposed on the internet and faced with a lawsuit, Fox News did air a public apology, pretending it was an "honest mistake" to air a carefully edited clip from last year's announcement instead of this year's.

I guess that's about as close to honesty as Fox news ever gets.

Fox news intentionally lied to viewers to try to discredit Ron Paul

Fox News intentionally lied to viewers in order to try to discredit Ron Paul.

Here is the story in a nutshell.

This year, for the second time in a row, Ron Paul won the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) straw poll.

Last year, when Ron Paul won, the Mitt Romney supporter had gathered around a Fox news microphone and booed loudly to give the false impression that most of the crowd disagreed with the results of the straw poll.

This year, when Ron Paul won again, there was thunderous applause that could not possibly have been disguised by such dirty tricks.
So Fox News did something even dirtier. They played a video recording of last year's announcement and then commented about it pretending that it was from this year and by that deception they tried to, once again, pretend that Ron Paul was not really the favorite of conservatives.

This video explains all that but doesn't do a very good job of explaining and fails (in my opinion) to make the point clear about how the deception was carried out.

They repeat the fake report several times before they finally show at the very end the real results announcement from this year.
So make sure to watch to the very end.
