Right, I was talking about jealousy, not envy. I could've addressed envy too, but I am afraid it's going to be too time-consuming -- I don't have time to sidetrack...

But jealousy is not just bf/gf stuff, ya know? It's basically rivalry for love - romantic interest, friendship, family, any...

That's how we all wired.

It's only when jealousy becomes excessive, it becomes destructive.

Hence it's not about this feeling per se, but about other personality traits, it's all about how a person handles this perfectly natural emotion.




P.S. Besides you as a believer shouldn't be ashamed of this feelings since god created man in his own image and...

What about the other way around? You are the one trying to communicate it to 'her'...
It's a very touchy subject and there is a probability that it can come across as accusation, mistrust, or even resentment. No matter how you word it.

Especially if attraction to other people is not an imaginary thing.

Jealousy may be related to feelings about your own worth, but not necessarily so. It's a fairly small part of equation.

Self-confidence is something I don't lack, but I do experience jealousy sometimes. And I don't believe anyone who pretends not to, ever.
