I thought it was Cameron and Clegg who have the power.
It is possible for two men to work as a team, which is why, using your footballing analagy, that teams like Man U are successful and Birmingham City are not.
It's called teamwork for a better country. I just hope they can make it work.

I was just pondering that scenario, and cmae up with the conclusion that firstly there would not be a hung parliament if she were there. She would have gained a mojority for the Party.
But, if it were the case that she would have to make alliances with others, then they would be dammed strong ones and she would not let the "namby pambyies" push her around.
She is probably one of the few leaders that could actually make a coalition work for the benefit of the country.
Will be interesting to see if Cameron can do the same.
That one pisses me off too, especially when the queue is right down the aisle.
My other pet hate is the trolley that never moves in a straight line or have a wobbly wheel and never go around the corners properly. Makes you feel like the captain of an oil tanker trying to negotiate rowing boats.
