RE: Do you believe in love at first sight

No, no, no.

Did Somebody On CS Help You Just When You Needed It

I think we need to show appreciation to those on CS who have helped us with suggestions to help our lives along when we were in dire need of comfort.

You don't have to tell the name of the person unless you want to.

Just tell us what someone said that made you feel better even if it was just for one day.

What is the best suggestion or idea anyone on CS has given you?

Did you ever stop to think about this...

How lucky we are to have a little truck go to our rescue when we get in an accident or have a catastrophe at home. An ambulance that rushes to our emergencies.

Do you work in an office building where there are people cleaning it at night after you leave? How nice it is to come back in the morning when the wastebaskets are empty, the kitchen floor is washed.

The Center For Disease Control is always working to keep horrible diseases from us. At the time of the Black Plague there was no such a thing.

If your house is on fire, the little red truck, with fireman aboard, come to your rescue to put the fire out. What would we do without them. On September 11th, 243 of them gave their life.

Those that are disabled can shop online for what they need. It will be delivered right to their door.

How lucky we are....

Are you in appreciation of any other professions or organizations that make your day easier or safer?

Our Mothers...

I'd like to hear from the guys...the divorced ones. Don't want to cause any problems between you and current wife.

RE: Ladies: Whats the age of the youngest man you ever dated?

Your reply showed up on my screen. This is confusingconfused

RE: Ladies: Whats the age of the youngest man you ever dated?

Are you sure Sweet. I hit the reply. Did your post show up?

RE: Ladies: Whats the age of the youngest man you ever dated?

This is going to seem like a dumb question since I've been in the forums awhile. I just read someone's post that said to hit the quote button. All along I've been hitting the reply button. What's the difference between the two of them.

RE: Ladies: Whats the age of the youngest man you ever dated?

Hey Dru, I wonder if I have you beat on the age thing.

Our Mothers...

Is your wife or ex-wife just like her mother?

Do you worry that your girlfriend will be like her mother when she gets older?

Or don't you have to wait that long to see the same traits...

Ladies, do you think you are like your mother?

Cell Phones, Face Book, Twitter....

s

That's interesting. I didn't know that cell phones, or I should say, police departments were able to do that.

I use my cell phone when I know the call will be out of my regional area for the landline and it does save money.

Unfortunately, I don't get many calls crying

Cell Phones, Face Book, Twitter....

From what I hear Sweet, Twitter is just like IM. Immediate contact with the person....no need to wait for an answer. It's constant back and forth communication.

And I think President Obama is a big Twitterer.

Cell Phones, Face Book, Twitter....

That's an excellent place to donate your cell phone to.

In my area, when you call the police at 9-1-1 your address comes up on their display which is good for emergencies.

In response to Dru, who has only a cell phone, I wonder if her police department is able to see her address if she calls from a cell phone.

Cell Phones, Face Book, Twitter....

There you go again with the hoster Dru rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing Just kidding ya.hug hug

RE: Randomly Post The First Thing That Pops Into Your Head Thread

Thank you JL. I've had it done before and it's quite painful but I'm going to be a big girl and get on with it.blues

RE: Randomly Post The First Thing That Pops Into Your Head Thread

I don't want to go to the hospital to have a Doppler test this afternoon. If the blood clots are gone I can get off the Coumadin. Wish me luck PLEASE

Cell Phones, Face Book, Twitter....

Is there an umblical cord between you and your cell phone?

As you walk out of a store or work to your car do you reach for your cell phone before you get your keys?

Are you afraid of missing the one important call that could change your life, or is it just a habit to have your phone in your hand.

How about texting? Do you have a need to be constantly connected to someone?

Are you a Twitter person?

Do you keep in touch with Face Book? Do you tell people on Face Book "I just ate an apple". I'm being condescening about that but I've seen where a good portion of messages are nonsense IMO. I cancelled my registration with them.

How about it my worldwide friends.

Tell us about your habits or needs with the cell phone.

How important is your cell phone to you?

RE: Do you still wear your wedding rings after divorce?

It doesn't always work Tam. Men and women take their rings off when they go astray. I always look too but I still have doubt.

One clue is, when you're in the supermarket, watch what he buys. Men don't buy quantity. They usually buy just for a night or two.

RE: Ever Married, Why did you divorce?

My husband was an alcoholic. I stayed with him for 7 years but it became dangerous for my daughter and myself

RE: Do you still wear your wedding rings after divorce?

I didn't go back to my maiden name because when I was divorced my daughter was 4 years old. I didn't want her to be traumatized by different names.

I was wondering not too long ago what I did with my wedding ring. I think I gave it back to him.

As far as my engagement ring, I had to sell it in preparation of leaving him so that my daughter and I had an apartment to go to.

I wonder how many people these days look at a man or woman that interests them and then look at the finger for a ring.

RE: What Women Want In a Man!!

Hi Buzzy....You reminded me of something. I was writing to a guy awhile ago. He saw my profile and how I looked but he told me his fantasy was that of a librarian with black high heels, straight skirt, white shirt and dark rimmed glasses. Oh yes, Buzzy, she could be a whirlwind. Trust me.

RE: For you all you chick fil a fans

OMG, I can't believe they have a restaurant. I've only seen small stands and they're not very common. Love, love that chicken.

RE: When you go on that first date what do you...

I have met many men who say in their profile that they are single and eventually I find out that they aren't.

I usually ask the question if their married in phone calls before the first date. If he says he isn't I'll ask it again when we meet.

The thing I hope for is that he can make me laugh. That is the thing that is missing in my life.

So to answer your question, my big concern is if he's married.
