Hi Petal.....I'm sure you will get a few offers after this post
I agree, I like the cave man idea. Have you seen the King Kong movies. She's so small in the palm of his hand. That would make a woman even as big as me feel tiny with a hand like King Kong. And what about those piercing eyes Kong had for her
Oh, I understand know. The guys are just kidding around. They like to pick you up cause your small.
Well maybe you might want to think of it as them just being dumb boys and not romantic men. You might laugh along with them.
They're just guys kidding around. Trust me, they will stop doing it when they have a woman in their life. Most women wouldn't like their man picking up another woman.
However, if I felt secure with my man, I don't care if he picks her up, or hand feeds her a sandwich. He's going home with me and that's all that matters.
Would you please tell me what the popcorn emote means. I'm thinking it's not good. PB didn't respond and no one else explained. If the thread is a bad subject then I'll ask that we all ignore it and not post anymore.
It's not about women's weight. It's about a man picking up a woman and carrying her to the bedrooom.
Hello....May I ask, have you been carried to the bedroom?
I don't think men are lazy if they don't carry her. They know what their body can handle and it's not worth getting a hernia to pick up a 170 lb woman just to make it more romantic.
I watch a lot of movies and I'm always seeing a man pick a woman up and carry her off to the bedroom.
Is that for real guys?
Do mean really pick women up and carry them off to intimacy?
In a movie a man and woman are kissing. All of a sudden he reaches down to pick her up and carry her off to the bedroom which is about 9 feet away. He struggles to get through doorways and still keep it romantic. They could probably walk faster.
Then he gently lays her down on the bed. Personally, I think it would be more fun if he threw her on the bed in a fun way.
I don't doubt that most men can pick up 120 lbs whether a woman or a bar bell, but many of us aren't 120 lbs.
What goes through a man's mind when he's kissing her but knows she's too heavy to pick up.
Rhett carryied Scarlet up 100 stairs. It's a well known scene as he carried her without any struggling even though her dress probably weighed more then she did.
Is it Hollywood at it again making us women that have never been carried to the bedroom trying to make us feel neglected?
Guys, do you enjoy carrying your woman to the bedroom? Does it enhance what is about to follow?
Thanks Vinny for the quotes. Now that I've seen the movie I can visualize him saying them.
You said that he hardly ever slept. He was very stressed during the campaign for a second term as Prime Minister and had a heart attack that is wife nor he never knew about it. The doctors and his aid thought it best not to tell him. He lost the campaign and took it personally. Yet the people loved him and he got Britain's most prestigious award. Once he knew that the people loved him he was able to relax.
I think most people appreciate Winston Churchill. Up until the most recent presidential election in the U.S. there has always been a bust of him in the Oval Room in the White House. For reasons I don't know, President Obama took the bust out of the Oval Office. I find that very sad.
Did anyone watch the movie last night entitled "Into The Storm"?
It was a overview of Mr. Churchill during WWII.
I knew nothing about him except that he and President Roosevelt worked together in the war.
I have a better insight as to who he and Clemmie (his wife) were but knowing how Hollywod does things, I'm wondering if he really was as grouchy, arrogant and impatient as the movie portrayed him to be.
Do those of you in the U.K. think the movie portrayed him fairly and accurately.
I really don't think I could handle actually living with someone day in and day out. And I have no doubt that no one would be able to live with me even if I didn't have any personal problems.
I want the intimacy, the dinners and dates and I would want him to stay over at times but I wouldn't want the legal "living together thingie". Maybe I would change my mind once I met him.
You are 100% right. When people suggested that I try to sue him I told them it would be a waste of time cause I sent the money and gifts on my own because I loved him and felt sorry for his financial situation. All my life I heard "love is blind" and never really knew what it meant. Now I do.
FOR THE MEN ...Do you really do this WOMEN: do you want them to do it
I'm waiting to be swept off my feet but with my luck it will be Red Devil vacuum cleaner.
