Either way, this yr or next, he'll more than likely be the #1 pick. I do like to see guys stick around and get their education. USC couldn't shut him down like OSU did, we beat ourselves, or should I say our coach beat us, with playing Zwik when Smith is clearly the #1 QB for us. I tip my cowboy hat to Texas, they deserve it. I can only state the obvious, if Tressel would've started Troy Smith, and only used him not Zwik, we could've beaten Texas. But that QB controversy is over, so we'll see on september 9th in Austin, TX, how this yr will unfold.
Yeah, there has been a lot of talk about Vince Young going pro. So far it has been speculation, he has untill january 15th to decide if he'll declare himself eligible for the april '06 draft. I may be a diehard Buckeyes fan, but I really like Young. He is a class act, and I hope he succeeds, except if he comes back next yr and plays Ohio State, LOL.
I wish you the best. I'm not sure of the situation, but I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad you are still here, and hope you remain for a long time to come
Hey man, that's alright. Not everyone's a sports freak like myself, or should I say football freak. I'll tell you what.....If I was as adept with women like I was football, I'd never have a worry.....just have to keep the door barred shut, LOL LOL
You're cool in my book X, but you're not getting my football threads LMAO
Tell you what, Vince Young was the deciding factor in that game. He totally dominated the game- 250 plus yds passing, 200yds rushing. If he does stay for his senior yr, I look for him to win the Heisman and be the #1 pick in the draft. If he goes this yr, he'll leap over Reggie Bush to be the #1 pick.
I've always checked for a ring, LOL. If the spirit moves you, speak up! I have gotten better as time has went by, at initiating conversation. It can be kinda scary trying to approach someone you've never met. But like I've said before, and will say again.... you never know if ya don't try.
The only downside is the vastly talented players that are leaving. The best trio of linebackers to ever play together- A.J. Hawk, Anthony Schlegel, and Bobby Carpenter- are all N.F.L. bound. We also lose two great defensive backs, Nate Salley and Tyler Everet. Our two biggest hits offensively is Santonio Holmes (one of the best WR in the country), and center Nick Mangold. Since Huston is graduating as well, we'll have a ? at placekicker.
I think we'll be OK. Offensively we have basically the entire offense returning, minus a couple. Troy Smith proved he is a legitimate QB, not just a runner. We have a solid back in Antonio Pittman, with Maurice Wells and Erik Haw as his backups. Recieving wise we are set- with Ted Ginn Jr., Anthony Gonzalez, Roy Hall, and our little used backups. Tightend wise we have Marcell Frost returning, who looked solid the second half of the season.
Next yr could be a run for the title. Our biggest test will be week two in Austin Texas, vs the Vince Young led Longhorns. If we get past them, look out!!!!! USC will not be back to the title game next yr, Reggie Bush will go pro early, and Matt Lienart will be gone. Without those two, the'd have never gotten as far as they did.
If you wouldn't know any better, you'd think I liked football or something, LOL LOL LOL
I just got home from watching my Ohio State Buckeyes beat Notre Dame 34-20. I thought the Buckeyes played a great game. Troy Smith (who is highly underated) had a spectacular game throwing the ball. Both tedd Ginn and Santonio Holmes had over a hundred yds recieving, and Antonio Pittman rushed for over a hundred yds. Go Bucks!!!!!
Everything in life is a risk, but all aren't life threatning.
I love cruising on a motorcyle. Being 26, a sport bike is best suited for me. When I grow older and hopefully wiser (lol), I'd like to own a Harley. I have hit high speeds before, the highest being about 150mph on an empty road. That's not something I have made a habit, just needed to get it out of my system. I am a very observant, and cautious rider, I know motorcycles don't get noticed as easily.
I'm getting back into football. There's always that chance of being severly injured as well. I play the game with passion and reckless abandon, the way it should be.
My newest risk-taker is soon to be bull riding. I intend to give it at least one go round, to see if I can do it. I enjoy the sport, and I want to at least try it. I can do the mechanical ones.
If something that a loved one does concerns you for their safety, talk to them. I don't mean expect them to give it up, but to use as much caution as possible. It's not wrong to show concern. I would fear for a loved one yes, but I would support them to the fullest, and be there if something were to happen.
I know this ever so well. It's like 11:30 on new yrs eve, and I am at home alone. Friends are all over doing this and that, whether with their women or elsewhere. Right now is a very lonely time. I'm not going to go out alone, and definitly don't plan on driving (even if I'm not drinking, I don't want the hassle with the area law enforcement). I remember how great it was to have someone in my life to celebrate the new yr. I wish it was monday afternoon, so I could watch my Ohio State Buckeyes play in the Fiesta Bowl. I hope everyone is safe, and happy new yr
Some women like to be pursued, some like to be the persuer. I've had a lot initiate conversation with me, and I've initiated conversation with a lot. Just depends on the woman I guess, no two are alike. Best of luck
Sometimes it happens when you're not even expecting it. One of those random occurances, somewhere you'd never figure you would do so. best bets to keep your eyes open, and best of luck.
I got off work one friday morning, and stayed up all day, and then went out to the bar that night with some friends. When I got home from the bar, I was starving. I threw a frozen pizza in the oven, but I fell asleep before it was done. I woke up in the morning, smelling something burnt. I walked into the kitchen, and realized what it was. I turned off the oven, and pulled out this charcoal frisbee. I'm lucky it didn't burn my house down, but I thought it was funny though.
RE: Mr. Cowboy?
my boots didn't come from walmart, they came from Rod's Western Palace.
