In the u.s. people get very nasty. If you give a viewpoint that is different, people will rip on you. I enjoy banter so if people disagree that is cool; I enjoy when they give facts.
I think what bothers me though is people blindly saying things without any facts or thoughts behind it. Obama is great, or Obama sucks, is just pathetic.
I have a very thick skin and I dont take it personally. People will get nasty at times in the threads and it's just the way it is.
I personally agree with what happened but I'm sure there are some that dont. If they dont and have facts to back their statement, that is cool. But if they just are against it because they dont like democrats, then that's ignorant.
In the real world maybe, but look at all the waitresses that people like Nicolas Cage and George Clooney have slept with. Clooney has a stable of bartenders and waitresses he's slept with and he's reportedly with one now.
Cage married his last one.
In hollywood or with the rich and famous, wealthy men are constantly marrying young girls. Hugh Hefner is 80 and he's with 21 year olds. Young women love the money and attention, the men love having a young woman.
You dont have to cut it off; keep seeing him if you enjoy his company. Women always want butterflies and sky rockets but sometimes the fuse can be very long so give it time.
I'm in the medical field and I've dealt with this dozens of times with patients and and on occasion with family members.
It's always very difficult and very sad. I think the key is to just not let your emotions get to you, talk things out and don't lose your head. It's rough.

You are un american and are more worried about your political party looking good, than into whats right with America.
Bush had 8 years and gave our country away to china and to big business. Billions of dollars in corporations thievery.
To have a president knowingly lie to get us into a war? no way.
We had the worst economy in history and that was when the Republicans had much of the voting control in our countries political system.
Palin, Gingrich, Odonnel, Bachman, Bush? No thanks. Unless they can get someone that is at least half way smart and respected there isnt' a chance in hell. Obama wins fairly easy.
Even as a kid I always get bee and wasp stings and they hurt. I figured out from an old book that baking soda may treat it. I then realized the venom is mostly acid and baking soda is a base. Mix an acid and a base and they become water.
I tried it and it worked. A little water and baking soda paste on a bee sting and within 5 seconds the pain is gone.
Love takes time; it sounds like you are expecting a hot young woman running to your door with beer and a pizza. If you can't handle things when you are alone, then you are not healthy enough to be in a relationship.
Women probably feel the pressure you put on them. Lighten up, go out and meet people and have fun. Dont' put so much pressure on yourself and it will happen.
Mary unfortunately in the u.s. anger is a huge problem. Every day there is a story where someone loses their temper and either hurts or kills someone; sometimes because of nothing.
Road rage is a huge problem with people getting shot and killed on the roadways. I've seen people in stores, and even in churches lose it and just go off. It's really pathetic but the U.S. has some serious issues.
I can say you are the smartest person I've seen post in a while; I've seen some doozies too; but you are right on.
A man that cant' control their temper is dangerous. In the U.S. most of the women that are murdered are murdered by angry past or present relationships.
Fighting will happen and even yelling can happen on occasion; but to become aggressive is a sign that someone is angry not at the situation, but the lack of control they have over the situation. They feel yelling and screaming and even intimidating will gain back that control.
You did the right thing; one of my old pastors said the key to a relationship is not how to deal with good times, but how you are when you fight. Fight fare and don't lose control.
Good for you. I am sorry things didn't work out well but in the end things will work out for you. Things dont' happen for a reason, they happen mostly due to our decisions, and you made the right one and should feel at ease.
And lets be real. It's not an international forum it's an English speaking forum. There is nothing wrong with that. Most Americans dont know any other language than English while most foreigners do. Many young people in Russia, Ukraine, Spain and several other countries know more than two.

To judge is to make an educated point of view of something looking at the facts.
The U.S. is a mess in regards to relationships. We have some STD and single mother rates that are higher than some 3rd world countries.
Just this last week I read in the news;
5 year old shoots 3 bringing a gun to school; parent admitted they leave them lying around.
Mother attempts to kill her two small kids to please the new guy she's madly in love with.
And two other stories where new boyfriends got mad, kidnapped the kids and killed them.
These stories are common in the u.s. Some young women need to stop being so naive and making such poor decisions in their relationships and guys need to stop being tools and be better men.
lol; and if women didn't care about beauty, they wouldn't spend thousands getting name brand clothes, dying their hair, getting expensive makeup, tanning, and many other things.
lol; well to be honest that's kind of ridiculous. The first thing people see is the outside. That's why so many make terrible choices in relationships.
It's easy to say, but I look at actions. Many people choose bad people in the name of attraction instead of looking at who the person is inside.
Anyways, I think it matters. how many women date a bad boy thinking they will change the person and of course they end up having kids or even getting married and he finally leaves.
I think we should not change anyone. But if it's a secure and open person, then many times you can make them better by just being around them and suggesting things.
If you date someone and then think, I'm changing them, then trouble is ahead. If they need to be changed that much then a person should not date them. Jim
