Seriously though, it's interesting to see the different views. Here in Spain, the 'garlic' thing's not an issue.
I'd not suggest, as others have already done, spaghetti or chicken (on the bone) as BOTH are pretty messy things to eat.
It depends on the time of year, but I think, if I was cooking, rather than taking her out to eat, I'd make her my leek and potato soup for starter, with homemade sundried tomato bread, breaded chicken fillets with cracked pepper, steamed veg and new potatoes, and homemade banoffee pie for dessert.
