thx You're right. He isn't a liar, and this WOULD be a form of dishonesty. I think she probably knows anyway. She's a smart cookie. Smarter than she pretends. Let's see what happens....
It's all cyclical. Just about every main faith has crusaded against the 'enemy'. Islamist extremists of today are no worse than the Templars of old. Catapulting diseased corpses into a besieged City. Is that any different to WMDs??
Give it another 100 years and it'll be someone elses turn!
Islam, Judaism and Christianity basically share the same 'old testement', it's only after that they go their separate ways. So, they DO share the same godhead! You can call 'him' what you wish, it stems from the same teachings and doctrine.
No. He really IS dire!!!! I could give you many examples of missed opportunities, and misunderstood signals. It's just that, she's such a good friend, and I KNOW that he cares about her on so many other levels, that this new one is confusing his poor little brain!
Yeah right. " Hey, I'm really crap at reading things, but I really kinda like you. What??? Too awkward??? That's OK, I understand that we can't hang out any more....."
Consider that her mum has moved too and therefore is still establishing herself in the area. My friends, friend doesn't feel it's right to abandon her mother all day, this early into their move.
I may not be that close to my family, but I actually understand that!
A "friend" has had an online friend for about 2 years. She lived 4+ hours away and circumstances - work, their own relationships/situations etc - meant that they never met up.
They've dipped into each other's lives during that time, but no mention of anything in the relationship department. Literally 'online friends'.
Recently, she moved, just 20 minutes away, and they met up for coffee. All good, all fun and very, VERY comfortable!
Since then, although STILL nothing has been said or agreed, (perhaps a couple of silly 'hints'), they've chatted, phoned and talked and laughed their way through the days and everything has seemed so 'normal'!
Tomorrow, they are off for a walk in the woods, with her mum and their 2 dogs, or munchies and Trivial Pursuit if the weather's too bad - Their first hookup since the coffee night.
I... ehem, my friend, is useless at reading situations like this. So he'd certainly appreciate the advice... That I will, of course pass on to 'him'...
I know I'm gonna get shot down, but MY bible is on the same shelf as my Narnia, Alice and Harry Potter books! And as I don't fear Aslan, The Jabberwockey or Voldermort...
1. KFC for junk food. Various for 'real' food 2. Came back just over a week ago. But have been here since 2009 (on and off) 3. I LOVED my trips to Costa Rica, although they were business related. Would love to go back and see it for real. 4. I broke both elbows (top of the radii) at once, falling of a magical illusion! 5. Running. Ran X country at county school level. 6. I was an illusionist for nearly 15 years. LOVED IT!
RE: What if u could turn the clock back?
I'd liek to think I could go back and undo the hurt I caused to people throughout my life. Some may have been justified, but others not.
