I'm like you. I can drink Bacardi and (diet) coke all night or whiskey/bourbon and diet. No issues whatsoever. And hardly get tipsy. (and I'm talking Spanish measures here)...
But give me a couple of glasses of wine or 2/3 beers and I can feel it big time...
Saying that, I've not had any alcohol since Oct/Nov time.....
I once did a 2 hour round trip to see my g/f. She was down and wanted to be alone. I knocked on her door, gave her a massive hug and drove off. She told me later it made her day, but as I also got somethign out of it - it was STILL selfish. I wasn't after 'getting some'. Just to let her know she wasn't alone, but I still got something back.
