I think we need to be careful not to generalize. There are a couple of ladies on here who love younger men. Also, not long ago, I got a message from a younger guy who had a lot of his own money, claimed he wasn't interested if I had any. There are all kinds of people and all kinds of interests.
Not yet. I was trying it on for size. Up until that day, he seemed sort of normal, but that punishment...??? Well... I'm just not enough of a wild cat to put up with crap like that, evidently.

Well, Honey, I checked your profile. You're super sweet and very attractive, but... You're a full time student. NOTHING wrong with that! I've spent 4 of the last 6 years of my life in school full time. I'm also paying for it in spades at the moment. These are unstable times, and I think that both men AND women are more cautious about dating someone who isn't gainefully employed.
OK, I like to think I'm a pretty low maintenance kinda gal, not too overly emotional, not too needy, not too demanding...

I think it was Anne Landers that said that the engagement ring is a gift, and the woman is entitled to keep if he breaks the engagement, but she should return if she does. Who makes up these rules???
Thing is, I don't care for a big, fancy, expensive ring. It's just a token, a symbol. Save the money for the AMAZING honeymoon.
