he's too busy for us homegrown kids these days lol....IDK that much about boehner really. if he can throw in a little obstructionism for mr obama that'll fly with me
I also think life is but a series of choices, since we are human, however, I believe we will all make some choices that are not the best at the time. Especially when we don;t have experience in a situation and we have to make on the spot decisions, we do the best we can at the time.
I think things are often more complicated that "right," or "wrong."
nothing would surprise me. But absent a red flag with a star and a sickle, it would be hard to be to the left of Obama. As a proponent of smaller govt and free enterprise (anti trust) she would be to the right of Obama (which is not difficult to attain)
It is really hard to tell when politicians talk about the interests of the people whether the context of those statements are within the American Constitution and value system of a free enterprise continuum of some sort.
Obama said things like that but he has turned out to have an agenda that is too socialist. So with him "the people" was not "We The People," where the people govern, it was more a socialist agenda of the govt making decisions for the people (whether we like them or not)
Oh I think the banks are a huge problem because they hae not been made accountable for their bad investments and their investments have not been in the American people. Their investments have been in the global market and those investments bankrupted a number of American people who entrusted them, and the banks themselves. IDK how the bigger corporate banks have avoided the anti trust laws in this country, but it's time that two things happen. That those laws be applied either voluntarily or with a lawsuit, and that the banks be required to pay back their bail out money. That would go along way toward galrads goal of reducing the national debt. I do not think anyone wants to destroy the banks, but they cannot be permitted to run the country.
I would say (in acknowledgment of not having completed personal research) that Americans are less grabbers than the more socialist euro countries
seriously tho....I think there will always be people who look for easy handouts (grabbers) and it has nothing to do with where they are from from. There are just people like that.
anyone would be dumbfounded by trying to control US Govt spending these days. That simply makes Kasich a man of the people. lol
I'd need to know Warren's environmental record and position on Keystone before I's support your platform TBH because as much as I like Kasich his environmental record is a little pro industry for me. But it is not a bad idea galrads
yes that is what she is saying....if I understand you correctly. So you think then that she has no chance because of her anti trust agenda. there are anti trust laws in this country yanno...
Mostly she makes him look bought and paid for..lol
Elizabeth Warren has a pretty good following. She's a name that most of us here know, but outside of New England IDK that most know what she stands for.
Thank you for your interest, however, that is not something I wish to discuss at this time. Or ignore and walk away. I imagine there are plenty of places to shop where you live. lol
hmmm just considering CS membership? IDK hard to say - there are a lot of nice guys on here but they are from a variety of countries. If I had to pick just one, it would be Australia
you could well be right. It is not so much that I did not understand. I am not sure that level of thinking is intended to make sense...lol. yes I think there could be some trickery going on indeed!
The only thing I object to is being falsely accused of anything. That is my issue, not his posts or his freedom to his own opinion. thanks lifesadream, I think your perspective helped to add a little humor!
I certainly agree with you. But of course we need to know first that a crime has been committed and that it is one that requires punishment. I wish there was a better way - like incentivizing obeying laws and good behavior. all too often though those who are law abiding get the short end of the stick in the justice system. But at least there is a due process where one has to be proven guilty.
RE: Who's the more foolish; the fool or the fool who follows him?
indeed....what is more foolish than whiling away the hours on CS...lol
