Can anyone reside in the White House without the corporate banks?
One of the great passionate speeches I've heard as an adult, I think she and governor John Kasich should run for the president in 2016.
They are both sincerely concerned about federal government spending. Kasich Presently wants to tour the states and lobby for a federal constitutional amendment to balance the national budget. I recall he was dumbfounded as a U.S. Senator trying to control spending.

not right now, look at all the banker so called suicides, most were at the top of their game, get elected to congress and they own you because of inside trading, thats why no edit the fed, house of dimon called rino's personally to pass crappybus bill,, dimon over 60 trillion upside down in gamblin debt, want taxpayer bailout again
Conrad73: she would make Obama look like an Arch-Conservative! BTW,has she found her Tribe yet?
Mostly she makes him look bought and paid for..lol
Elizabeth Warren has a pretty good following. She's a name that most of us here know, but outside of New England IDK that most know what she stands for.

yes that is what she is saying....if I understand you correctly. So you think then that she has no chance because of her anti trust agenda. there are anti trust laws in this country yanno...

anyone would be dumbfounded by trying to control US Govt spending these days. That simply makes Kasich a man of the people. lol
I'd need to know Warren's environmental record and position on Keystone before I's support your platform TBH because as much as I like Kasich his environmental record is a little pro industry for me. But it is not a bad idea galrads

She seems well-intentioned, but I don't see how she would reduce the decades-old culture of dependency there is upon the big banks. Just as the banks are financial overlords the people are begging underlings. And there is a problem with the size of the banks but the reason why they fail is because of bad investment relative to global markets - and that bad investment is the American people. To fix the problem you need to do something about the people or the global market(preferably both).
Anyway, I don't see any intent to transform beggars into producers(not that I expected too, no one votes for a harder life just because it leads to a better future). And when I say beggars I don't just mean those on welfare as many of our employed and "entrepreneurial" are effectively begging.

Oh I think the banks are a huge problem because they hae not been made accountable for their bad investments and their investments have not been in the American people. Their investments have been in the global market and those investments bankrupted a number of American people who entrusted them, and the banks themselves. IDK how the bigger corporate banks have avoided the anti trust laws in this country, but it's time that two things happen. That those laws be applied either voluntarily or with a lawsuit, and that the banks be required to pay back their bail out money. That would go along way toward galrads goal of reducing the national debt. I do not think anyone wants to destroy the banks, but they cannot be permitted to run the country.
I would say (in acknowledgment of not having completed personal research) that Americans are less grabbers than the more socialist euro countries
seriously tho....I think there will always be people who look for easy handouts (grabbers) and it has nothing to do with where they are from from. There are just people like that.
Conrad73: seems Old George Soros wants himself another POTUS,since the first one petered out so bad!
it's hard to tell anything from one speech.
It is really hard to tell when politicians talk about the interests of the people whether the context of those statements are within the American Constitution and value system of a free enterprise continuum of some sort.
Obama said things like that but he has turned out to have an agenda that is too socialist. So with him "the people" was not "We The People," where the people govern, it was more a socialist agenda of the govt making decisions for the people (whether we like them or not)

Subprime mortgages would be the most obvious example of the kind of thing I'm talking about. Pumping synthetic wealth into nations so they can live well above their own means(for a bit).
And if it's true for the US it's just as true for the UK, two nations abandoning good sense completely in favour of global roulette. Europe is a mixed bag, you have some of the best ideas and industries going just a shame about all the goat farmers, poxy tourist resorts and that ridiculous bureaucracy trying to mash it all together.

Warren most likely will turn out somewhere to the Left of Obama! Curious is that MoveOn.org is calling on her to go for the highest Prize in the Land! It's an open Secret whose Creature MoveOn is! Then the favoring responses from HuffPo,and Salon! HuffPo was bought by Soros some time ago,Salon,if it moves an Inch more to the Left will fall off the Edge of this Earth! Well, anyhow,we'll soon have Dude tell us whom the US Citizens HAVE to vote for in the next General Election! I am surprised he is so quiet!

nothing would surprise me. But absent a red flag with a star and a sickle, it would be hard to be to the left of Obama. As a proponent of smaller govt and free enterprise (anti trust) she would be to the right of Obama (which is not difficult to attain)

Alrighty, thanks. Representative Kasich impressed me back in the mid 80's when he worked hard to get a balanced federal budget. Being an x-insider and knowing what I know bout EPA, I have no problem endorsing John Kasich for president of these United States of America...

I think Ohio is a good example of good government, certainly :)
