Seriously, I can not say anything bad about CS. While I was looking for the right girl I found some really great, fun people that made my time here very much worthwhile. Finding the right person for YOU can happen when you least expect it. If we were not interested in a special someone, we would not be here. It is called the "push / pull theory. When you meet someone you think is a possibility for you, keep yourself just a little stand offish so they have to reach for you. AND, if you start talking Marriage, Kids, Family too soon it could be over before it even starts. Love takes time to bloom even when it's Love at first sight.
WOW, mindfful, You hit it right on the head. When we are young we seem to have been programmed to think every relationship is permanent. The older you are the less you see life that way. Actually, each relationship COULD be a permanent one, but it could also be just a fling or to satisfy a need at that time. The girl you are speaking of is still young enough to be testing the water and trolling for the biggest fish she can catch. You are just one of the test fish she has used her bait to catch. Don't be so serious about it. If you and she are right for each other you would have never been used to practice on. Don't be mad at her, she is just doing what she need to to make HER good choices. Move on with your life. 50 years from now she will be just a tiny speck in your memory if you remember her at all.
