I don't know where Gabi and I rank in the land of LDR but I am preparing to relocate to Cyprus where we will be a couple. Yes, I found the girl I have been looking for most of my life. Yes, something can go wrong but I certainly hope not. Perhaps we are the unusual pair who do not see this as simply a fling. I WANT this to work because I can see myself being with her for the rest of my life. If something is missing, we will find it and fix it because games are for the young.It takes two to tango and we have our dancing shoes on.

I am in the process of moving to Cyprus. I would not be doing that if I was dependent on my Lady friend. I made the decision based upon my ability to live there, on my own, with no financial assistance from anyone. I decided I could do that. Any additional decisions about a living space will be made after we have enough time together to be certain that the action would be the right one.
I know how I feel about her and I think she feels the same but being foolhardy is not the best way to cement a relationship. Big changes in Life should be made in small steps even though my second step is a huge one.

Here's a nice easy snack when company is coming. It's called a "Rollup"
Soften a block of Phila Cream Cheese to room temp. add 1/2 cup cold milk in a mixing bowl add chopped Jalapeno peppers, remove the seeds unless you like it HOT, chop into small size and blend in. Chop green and/or black olives ,amount to taste, and blend in You can add other things like chopped Ham, Prosciutto, or chicken. when blended, spread onto large tortilla and roll up. Put into the freezer until nearly frozen, remove and cut into half to one inch circles and serve. The batch will serve about 10 people assuming there are other things too.
I must say, all of the comments are interesting. Since I have never been to any of the countries that would be considered Muslim I appreciate everyone's posts.

Al Gore should start reducing his personal carbon footprint. He has over indulged himself into becoming huge. His home in Tenn. has been an energy hog at the same time the Bush home in Texas(when President) was a third of the Carbon Footprint of Gores. Gore is getting Richer every day off of the lies he spouts. Global Warming by butt, The polar areas recorded colder last winter.
