I would like to add, My first Mother in Law was from Finland and I absolutely adored her. I always recall her hovering over everybody at the dinner table , making sure everything was perfect and you took seconds.

You are so right gangel, It's those good feelings that make this possible. It may sound a little silly but I think our ages (Gabi is the trophy kid) make a difference in why we should get along quite well. None of the pressures that young people have. We can simply enjoy one another instead of competing.

As a matter of fact Gabi and I have discussed that very thing. We are adults and as such we will have a great time in any event.
FYI the trip is already planned and my ticket is bought. I am expecting a marvelous visit with a gal who thinks so much like me it is a bit scary at times. The vibes are superb.
