Good grief, I thought the last ones were worth a laugh since that is the notorious Chicago politics history. GEEZ, loosen up, the people will do what they want when they go to the polls next, so don't get all bent out of shape about a little humor on a tough day.
BTW, what is the latest political news from Hondurus?
The good people of honduras prevailed against the threat of Chavez style lunacy. When Mel Zelaya decided he wanted to be like Chavez and be president for life they tossed his sorry butt out! They kept their Republic free of socialism. A very proud people. Freedom does not come without a price and these people were willing to pay with their life if it came to that. Gee, that sounds like the United States I grew up in! I am proud to be sharing my knowledge with them. Last night I was with an entire group of Eye Surgeons who volunteer to come here as a group to do cataract surgery for no cost to the patients. There are countless people from the US and elsewhere, even Cuba who give of themselves in the name of friendship and Love helping others. You might try that sometime.
PS, thanks for baiting me into answering you. People don't need a gun to help poor people to survive better, all it takes is caring.
My ancestors came to American to escape to oppressive Governments there, as did Millions of others. We earned what we got by working two jobs if needed. Money was always being saved to put our children through Colleges or Universities so they could have a better life than we did. Unfortunately many of those children we worked so hard to educate never learned the lesson of earning by the sweat of their brow. Instead they decided work was for somebody else and since they did not have to work to get what they needed, nobody else should have to either. These days it seems everybody wants to carry a briefcase and make decisions for others. Every dead or crippled service man paid dearly for the freedom we used to have and that freedom is being gradually stolen by despots bent on destroying the greatest country the world has ever seen. If that were not so the millions who came here and became Americans were completely wrong for making the trip. Our ancestors may be from Europe or elsewhere but "WE ARE AMERICANS" and proud of it!
you are so right, on this page alone are 4 VERY attractive girls that could make a man happy if given a chance. Sure they live all over the world but if they are the right one it is worth it. Just take a look at Somechick, not the picture here but to one on her profile page, she is very beautiful. irrh77, there is a girl that could make you a kissing fool. What would you give for just one weekend with liebez in Kuwait. She is georgous. Only a fool would ignore markizamkd25, she is a winner for sure. AHHH CS, where dreams can come true.
Years ago I was in industrial sales and spent many, many hours on the hiways. Truckers were my friends and kept me awake and alive by being there when I was tired. That is where I got my CB handle of "oldfox". They are a great bunch, generally speaking. I remember a young boy in western Va. who was confined to his bed from illness. Truckers made a point to talk to him on the CB radio as they went by. Yep, good guys !
... oh and at the lack of that... there is also the amusement of watching yall get bent out of shape after my comments !!!!!
Yes we can all see that. Obviously.as a child the only way you could get any attention from your parents was to do something bad. I feel sorry for you, and I hope your therapy is successful.
I heard something recently that could explain Dude's presence here at CS. The Obama administration has assigned people to infiltrate blogs and forums like this to attempt to sway opinion to his progressive ideals. Actually it is very clear Dude has no personal risk since he is apparently not even a citizen of the U.S. Some people will do anything for money and we have seen how some politicians will pay big to make lies stick. I can forgive his enthusiasm, at least has a job unlike so many of our real citizens.
I don't believe a man can have too much. If he is able he should. Not having enough is unhealthy for a man's Prostate. An enlarged Prostate can make it very difficult for a man to pee and in serious cases surgery is required. Google it and you will see for yourself. The condition is often called "the lack of nookie disease"!
I once heard this version of that, A wife is a partner who will stand beside him through all the trials and tribulations he would not have had if he had not gotten married in the first place.
I know about these things since I have been married for 55 years altogether, and looking for a lady to finish my life with.
Thank you for making me think about that. Happiness can be complicated sometimes. Since I am retired I don't have to get up at a certain time and that is nice. I enjoy my time with singing and playing on wed nights, Looking forward to meeting a CS lady soon makes me smile. Being single is strange for me after marriages for over 55 years, so I am hoping for nice things to happen because of this site.
I reviewed the poll at this time and discovered an interesting fact. The no column got bigger when males between 18 and 40 made a push. I guess us old folks are just not with the younger generation even though without our years of two jobs and doing whatever it took to send our kids to college they would have had to get real jobs just like dad and grandpa. Now all of a sudden they think the world should be a free ride. 50 or 60 years ago the only entitlements we had was what we earned by the sweat of our brow. Somehow, we seemed to survive pretty damn well!
You really hit the nail on the head. Neither party offered the voters a reasonable choice. It was a sad looking slate of candidates. I certainly hope the next election provides us with a couple of plus candidates instead of forcing us to vote for the least objectionable.
Ouch adamisk, that good deed really cost you. I hope the guy is aware of what you did because if he continues to make bad parts he will get canned anyway later.
Living in a 3rd world country really tests the goodness of your heart. Wherever you look there is need. You know you can not help everybody but you can help somebody. It usually comes down to what you can afford to help someone with, A refill of gas for a cook stove or perhaps some medicine for an ill child. Even driving someone to a free clinic is a help and doesn't cost a fortune. It's kind strange but I have never found myself to be in need after helping someone who has virtually nothing. However, there are times when you must put yourself first to stay healthy and happy.
WE in the U.S. have a Constitution that give us the right to dislike a president and say so. I have made no threats and will not. We citizens will right the wrong that we were bait and switched into in the last election. As for pride, I have pride enough to protect and defend my great United States against all her enemies within and without her borders.
Honduras has been playing really well this year and I would like to see them do well. Maybe not the finals but they could kick a few butts along the way.
RE: What makes you happy ??
