Lovely ... bring me back some Swan feet? I heard that if I hang them on the front fence it will deter the local youths from tossing their beer cans into my garden...? In Africa chicken feet protect your house from being robbed. It used to be Gorilla feet, but seems there`s a shortage of those around, so the Sangoma`s changed it to chickens ....

Okay, lets get this cleared up finally......

CS only wants the Rights to not have to remove any writings done by members, so if you get axed or leave you cannot demand that they remove your postings and threads.... and THAT is the ONLY claim they make on anyone`s writings.

If you are in doubt... take a look at the Rules of the Forum ... right down at the very bottom they state it all quite clearly. If they did not, do you imagine in your wildest dreams that I would be excercising my mind-blowing skills here in the first place?...!

As far as Writing and Painting goes .... unless you SIGN over your Copyrights to someone else, you retain those Rights up to 50yrs after your death, and thereafter it becomes the property of your heirs .. and those heirs, having the Right to your work, can also have the right of selling it to someone else .... and after All is Signed and Notarised, then the Copyright no longer belongs to them, its gone forever.

Now realy... this is the most sensible posting, huh? makes a lot of sense. Well put WD, I think that is what sort of happens to most folk huh? We set off in one direction, and then something re-directs us....or we get delayed, and then the whole course of the journey is altered.... Life realy is interesting... if one accepts the doors that close, and walk thru the ones that open.......

Ah nearly forgot... I DO love making cakes and tarts... cause I love eating them... and my grandkids love them too..... Chocolate cake, Milk Tart, Apple Pie, Jam pastries, etc.....

I dont cook Swiss style ... they like stuff like Fondue, lots of pork, things made out of wheat, etc. For Swiss food my daughter-in-law cooks. For Staying Alive Food during the week - I cook.

Most of the food talk on this site I dont even understand!... and I prefer to stay dumb about it too, otherwise I may have to cook it!

I`ve always managed to have a couple friends who are trained chefs, and so for fancy cooking they do it for me....which I prefer, so when I entertained in SA, I could just enjoy my guests..... Even here in CH I`ve managed to attract another couple tame chefs!.. not romantic ones, just useful ones!

Only when people are starving will I cook voluntarily for them.

I only cook in Self-Defence. Dont realy like cooking, prefer gardening.

But the only way to get healthy food is to do it myself... everyone else here seems to eat only what tittilates the taste buds, is quick and easy... or else takes a mountain of kitchen utensils to prepare... which I usually have to wash! and put away!

My friends say I would do well cooking in a Kibbutz... my food gives them energy, also I seem to make far too much, like I expecting the local Army Platoon to drop by for supper. Like Uptiger above me here, I believe in Healthy Food ... the Fuel for the body. Dont get me wrong... I am a good cook, and am capable of making the finest Junk Food too.... also in a healthy way.

Hey, We here are of the Highest Intelligence this Planet has to offer .... Of course we all heard of Colloidal Silver ... a natural anti-biotic/fungicide and that bacteria is killed within 6 mins of coming into contact with it..... Hence the reason, long long ago, of the Nobility eating off plates of Silver, and having the Silver cutlery sets.

Tonight I going to have Golden Stew, going to brew up all my Grannies jewellery, add some vegetables, and stimulate my brain, heal my internal organs, enhance my intellect, and lengthen my life-span. But the last only if I can regain some of my youth as well!... otherwise I dont want the longer life-span.

Ah ha, so is that why one should drink liquids out of a Golden Chalice? Maybe thats the secret to Eternal Youth? So now I just gotta go out and buy myself a Golden Chalice.

Oh Damn! I always have such fun taking my Nutritionist shopping with me, and now you telling me I dont have to?... What am I supposed to do with him now?.... and all my microscopes and chemical analysis things down in the basement..... all now Redundant, huh?

What exactly is Junk Food? If we sent all the Junk Food off to Ethiopia and those other places where people are starving to death.... do you think it will make a difference to their health?... guess it would keep them alive, huh?... and then we could send all the Phd`s and Doctors there too, cause then they`d have SO much work to do. That would also take care of the Toxic Waste Problems the world is experiencing, just concentrate it all in one area.

But then again, maybe that will be called Discrimination?... cause they got all the medical assistance that we up here wouldn`t be needing?

Gosh, its a problem, huh? and the Medical Insurance Schemes will go bankrupt... and Oh Yes, those folk down there in Ethiopia havent got the means for subsidising those golf clubs, Mercs, seaside apartments, etc.... So guess that means we get to keep our Medics, and the Toxic Waste?

Ahh, thank you, Ojeowete from Belgium! You made me smile when I read what you wrote....very kind words. My grandkids not only have a Powerful Granny, they also got a Totally Whacky/Crazy/Insane One too, all rolled into One!

They are going to be Model Citizens, cause there is a method that works for me..... If the parents are Crazy then the kids are opposite. Now I trying to see if it works with the next generation too?

Just buy, or borrow, some teenager`s magazine, or those ones for young wives..... and then do the things they suggest... Like the Dinner for Two, the Candles, Dim Lights, Compliments, Gifts, the Out of Africa Dinner for Two on the Lawn at Sunset....

Or get a clip-board and stand outside supermarkets on a Saturday morning, and ask females (or men, or both) What Do They Consider Romantic?... like you doing a Market Research Project.... People love to give their opinions, as you can see by this posting of mine!!!!!!!!

ah so.... you got a Rough One Way Street ... and that is exciting for you? All you rough tough guys cruising one way down your one-way street, all in unison, and just cause its a rough street, its exciting? A little bit of contrast is what makes life more interesting.... How do you know its a rough street, if you never been on a Smooth Street? or a Glamourous Street? or a Tricky Street? Be congruent with offering replies to questions, otherwise no one gets any insight into what makes one tick.... if a person swings this way, and then that way, and then slithers around, it makes assessment of their thinking habits very difficult for the readers of these silly threads and posts.......?

And do tell, exactly how do you check out the nutrients of food that you see? Take the chicken and put it under a microscope?.... "Hold on, while I go check out the nutrients in this banana"...?

If you having to read the printed Nutrients Label on the can or packet... then you Not getting much nutrition.

Today, a Huge Electrical Rain Storm hit us...had to run around slamming shutters closed, closing off the water downpipes to water storage barrels, securing pot plants, rescuing the cat, etc...... and into my mind popped the lunch menu.... plain and simple steamed chicken, basmati rice, mixed vegetables.... Last night we had an exotic fish dish, so now I can relax and be mundane, again.

What I am learning is that sometimes, most-times, one can strike up a nice sort of cyba friendship, with lots of mails going back and forth, and you think you getting to know the person.... and then one day they just Missing.... never to be heard from again.... like they fell into that Black Hole or something...? So now I dont expend too much energy..

Best Party Ever...

Yes, Some parties just stand out in one`s memory ... even if the party itself was not spectacular... maybe its just one`s own viewpoint that makes it memorable...? I had quite a few, but one remains that still makes me laugh out loud.....

A whole crowd of us were at a village shin-dig, and we all got SO drunk, and decided to go diving for Crayfish.... the men did the skulking around the rocks and found quite a few large Crays (at least they didn`t Actually dive for them!)... and deposited them "somewhere"... while we continued the party on the beach. We decided to go home and cook the Crayfish and have a feast .... but we could not find the Crayfish, anywhere! Then the driver of one of the cars couldnt find his car-keys ... lost in the beachsand probably, so we all helped remove the windscreen...only then did he admit it was his mothers car he`d borrowed, and he lived just up the road.

The next day, we found the Crayfish...my friend had passed out on the back seat of her husbands car... on top of all the Crayfish... and slept on them till she woke up the next morning, parked out on the pavement.

Knowing what you don`t know is also a kind of Knowledge! Someone who realises that they dont know everything under the sun is wiser than those who know just a little, but who thought they knew a whole lot? Stupid people act like they know all about things they know absolutely nothing about. Is it not better to Know what you Do Know, and admit you dont know about some other things?

When we think we know Everything, then we offer opinions ... and those who know more about That subject then offer their opinions, about which they are more learned......?

Being a popular tourist place, it should be surrounded by hotels of all sizes, shapes, and prices.

Dont worry too much about admission times etc.... just find some dense folliage area... and sneak in under or over the fence....

Otherwise, try the brochures you find in travel agencies? Or ask whatever relatives you have over there, they should know. Or try the internet? I am sure it is not a secret... it is a large place, very popular, so the info should be available somewhere?... Unless of course, this is just a way to inform us all where you going? If thats the case, then WOW, you so lucky... and hope you have a great time.

Why not take a tent and camp there? if you dig a deep hole and make a smokeless fire, like the Red Indians used to do, then you could stay free, right inside the Gardens, and at night just wander around like its your personal paradise! and bathe in the ponds, and eat the ducks and swans?

I have big garden ... and it gives me back-ache, knee-ache, dirty fingernails, callouses, and makes me sleep well at night... cause I just so damn tired !

I just love this Swiss German Dialect.... its a sort of funny growl, could be some animal in a dark cave.... They dont move their mouths much, guess thats because of the cold weather? and trying to not get frozen teeth?

On a slightly different tack.... Did you all know the Swiss walk differently to everyone else? Yes... I can tell a True Swiss by how he walks. They walk like they going to slip at any moment, and also like they going to maybe bump their head on something like a low ceiling or doorway... Interesting huh?
Even the women walk like that, except they got more of a Duck Walk, you get that way from carrying all the carpets outside to clean them, and carrying pot-plants around everyday and watering window boxes on the sills of every single room in the house except the basement.

But, I still want to learn to talk this funny way....
