anyway... it's just my opinion and sounds like you might be allowing yourself to believe in him MORE than you believe in yourself sweetie and this will always end in tears!!

yeh!! I think many experienced the same as it was a society thing ... not celebrating anything else other than wedding anniversaries was just a different spin on it and made my experiences more unbearable ...

needless to say, I do go overboard to make celebrations more meaningful for my lot!!!
