RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

Your didn't answer my question.laugh

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

Definitely not!!! Just out of curiousity, if I had asked the same question that you asked, what would your reaction have been?dunno

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

Thank you for your answer Serrambi.hug Hope you feel better soon.comfort

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

I gave you an honest answer, and tried to explain why it would make a difference. Isn't that what you wanted? To try to find out who people are by their reactions? I am far from wise, and as for good.........doh rolling on the floor laughing uh oh

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

Tell me what makes you think he is not fake?dunno

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

You didn't look like you were from NM, which is why I mentioned blow-ins.

Everyone should ask does "it" agree with them? Explain?

And what does Buddha have to do with shamanism?wine

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

Years of observation, on what makes people say things like you did. The poster I agreed with, said it best. Empty vessels make the most noise.......or words to that effect.

Now if you were on a spiritual site, talking with other spiritualists or people with similar "talents", then it might be different, but here..........nope, doesn't sit right.......

A whole lot of things don't fit in fact.wine

(You asked!).comfort

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

Been to NM many years ago. Found it full of blow-ins looking to find deeper meaning. Every second small town/settlement was full of shamanic paintings, shamanic crafts, shamanic spells, shamanic rites for sale. It was just a money racket, and none of it, that I could see, held any truth or wisdom or even reality. I really wasn't impressed with the wannabees.

I did, however, happen on an old man in a zuni settlement, who impressed me greatly. He asked for nothing..........wine

Good post. My thoughts too.thumbs up wine bouquet

RE: The 69 day test

For me, all transactions and interactions end when the day ends.

Except for diaries/journals I have kept since I was 13, I don't have anything that might be of interest to anyone, and even those aren't that interesting, because most are written in code.

I don't think anyone would find anything about my life (outwardly), remarkable.wine

RE: If I told you I was a Shaman would it make any difference?

Yes. It would make a difference in how I thought of you, (and not always in a positive way).wine

RE: How long will the depression last?

It usually works in 15(ish) year cycles. Don't know if the western world will ever recover from this one though, since it is China that is doing much of the bailing out.wine

RE: Just something...

There can be laples in a Jew's commitment to their religion, just are there are with other people, in other religions.

People's beliefs and habits change all the time.wine

RE: everyone have personality in their live. so what kind of personality do you have, explain it

Sanguine

The Sanguine temperament personality is fairly extroverted. People of a sanguine temperament tend to enjoy social gatherings, making new friends and tend to be quite loud. They are usually quite creative and often daydream. However, some alone time is crucial for those of this temperament. Sanguine can also mean very sensitive, compassionate and thoughtful. Sanguine personalities generally struggle with following tasks all the way through, are chronically late, and tend to be forgetful and sometimes a little sarcastic. Often, when pursuing a new hobby, interest is lost quickly when it ceases to be engaging or fun. They are very much people persons. They are talkative and not shy. For some people, these are the ones you want to be friends with and usually they become life long friends.

Choleric

A person who is choleric is a doer. They have a lot of ambition, energy, and passion, and try to instill it in others. They can dominate people of other temperaments, especially phlegmatic types. Many great charismatic military and political figures were cholerics. They like to be leaders and in charge of everything.

Melancholic

A person who is a thoughtful ponderer has a melancholic disposition. Often very considerate and get rather worried when they could not be on time for events, melancholics can be highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become occupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. A melancholic is also often a perfectionist. They are often self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being a melancholic is sometimes they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others.

Phlegmatic

Phlegmatics tend to be self-content and kind. They can be very accepting and affectionate. They may be very receptive and shy and often prefer stability to uncertainty and change. They are very consistent, relaxed, rational, curious, and observant, making them good administrators and diplomats.

I think Melancholic describes me.wine

RE: I still haven't figured out the capital of Europe?

I think this quote from the net explains it best...........

"It does not have an official capital, neither does the European Union. Political centres of the European Union are Luxembourg (court of Justice), Strasbourg (Parliament), Brussels (council of ministers), Frankfurt (European Central Bank) and the Hague (intelligence agency and various international courts).

If there's ever going to be a European capital, there's a big chance it's going to be Brussels. "wine

RE: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT PRISONS RUN FOR PROFIT ?

Provided they are monitored and run well, then I think so too.

RE: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT PRISONS RUN FOR PROFIT ?

Criminals are being turned away form prisons all over the world because there is no room, or resources to keep them, already.wine

RE: love hurts

Love has only one manifestation, pure bliss, or ecstacy. It is the most positive energy that there is. Positive energy is incapable of hurting anyone or any thing.

When people choose to give love to someone, (share that energy), with someone who chooses to hurt them, then they say love hurts, but really it is the one person who is hurting the other, (behaviourally), not the love that is hurting either.hug
