Many teens commit suicide because they feel disjointed from society, home life and friends. Hopelessness sets in.
The same is true for adults. Our society is so broken and disjointed, we need to go online to meet people instead of meeting face to face. I find what people say and do are very often two separate things. And this is magnified with those that are suicidal. It doesn't happen over night, but is a erosion of a basic fundamental need for acceptance we all have. When that's gone, not many reasons left to stay here. I hear that over and over again from people that are single and once was not.
