Here in Canada, they just recently got a major bank to form a "new" mortgage for Muslims so that they do not have to pay interest on their mortgage (something that's against their religion). How can you combat what they are doing if we keep giving into their every wish? I did send off a email to my MLA stating I do not support this.
I think we need to get firm and boot their asses out of our respective countries if they are not willing to comply with our laws. Not ask then to leave, just a swift kick in their asses and show them the door. But I fear their reach is far reaching and their influence is deeply rooted in many countries. This has been on going for many years.
I believe Canada is trying to put out a house fire with a water pistol.
Is it for that reason good ol' Arnold Swartz can't run for office? But I always believed the last few prez's weren't really "voted" in but put there by those in power. Arnold just wasn't good enough for them is all it seems.
Hmm...you presented yourself in a way that I have nothing to say against. I do have compassion. And I have admitted that in my original response I was perhaps too harsh and unfair. And I'm sorry for that...and for accusing you of things that, obviously, in light of your response is not true at all.
I think I'm just going to pick up whatever I have left of myself on this thread and move on. I do understand somethings in life are very difficult and hard, but still maintain that one needs to finish a relationship before they engage in another.
I'm sorry for what I said about you, jlw45.
You have proven to be the better man in this case.
Thanks. Believe me I didn't think nor want it to get this out of hand. I never meant anything towards the OP in a personal way, but I have been personally attacked.
YES! Montreal scored!! Sorry random thought lol. Just watching the NHL game right at this moment.
Yes compromise is a good thing, but at what expense? I happen to think that being married and looking to date is unethical. I know a lot of people agree with me. I guess I'm looking at the principle of it and not just the surface. And others have alluded (even her friends) that her not filing could be one of the reasons he acts this way. I'm not knocking her as a person, just her attitude towards not wanting the marriage but still wanting what she wants.
I do/have compromised a lot in my life for others and will cont. to do so. But I'm not going to say something is "okay" when I honestly feel it isn't. Unlike you, I am not one to chase popularity votes or desire to be patted on the back by others.
I'm sure she is a great person in her own right, but to go into a different part of her life (looking to start a new relationship) before the last one is finished is silly and not right. I am entitled to my opinion on this. And let me remind you, she is the one that decided to open herself up to this by hanging her dirty laundry to dry on this site.
So you go ahead, Mr. Funny, man with all your trite comments. Means nothing to me.
RE: Would this scare you?
