Why should a man or woman settle for what's out there?
Women are hunters too these days, we have evolved.
It takes a long time to get to know someone, it is the same as in youth. You can meet and get along fine for a while, but gradually see that maybe that person was not for you. That is not anyones fault, it happens to men and women. It is called getting to know someone and the reality check often is painful to someone.
As to not knowing what someone is looking for, well maybe some of us can't pin it down to the last degree, but is it not better to be honest. If it does'nt suit you when someone says they are not sure, then maybe best to move on.
Hope you find your perfect match, but I wonder if she will in fact be exactly as you imagine her?
Stray Cat Strut from the album "Stray Cats" (1981)
Black and orange stray cats sitting on a fence Ain't got enough dough to pay the rent I'm flat broke but I don't care I strut right by with my tail in the air
Stray cat strut I'm a ladys' cat A feline cassa nova hey man that's sad Get a shoe thrown at me from a mean old man Get my dinner from a garbage can
Yeah, don't cross my path
I don't bother chasing mice around I slink down the alley, looking for a fight Howlin' to the moonlight on a hot summer night
Singin' the blues while the lady cats cry "Wild stray cat you're a real gone guy" I wish I could be as carefree and wild But I got cat class, and I got cat style
So I got my car back Saturday morning finally with a big bill! Picked up a friend to go dancing and the damn car has a knocking sound that was not there before and it is'nt the tappits!
I trusted my dad and a favourite aunt who I was extremly close to, I trust my children.
There are only a very few friends I trust totally and some that have broken trust. There are a few here who I feel I can trust, it is something that comes with time and things that happen can break or make a trust.
But I have been told by several people I am hard to get to know, that I keep things in. Some seem offended by.
But I don't like being asked 20 questions and don't do it to others. I prefer to get to know someone gradually, I really don't like it when someone gives you their life history in an evening, or a dance sometimes, it only tells you they are extremly self centered or totally insecure.
fcryan you have left quite a bit about the place of yourself, but I would not let someone thinking you are guarded leave you doubting yourself.
I went to the dance tonight and had a really good time, lots of dancing and of course my smile went with me.
Was'nt drinking tonight as driving, but that makes no difference to my letting loose with the dancing. Just for the record when I do drink I never overdo it, as soon as I reach the just about to lose control moment I switch to water! Yeah 'moderation' good, but not in my dancing!
I've not long come in from a dance tonight. I love dancing, had a good evening. Yeah I can dance, just love to let loose and lose myself in it. Great therapy and exercise. Even had a few slow dances with guyfriends.
