It all depends on wether you just want to bask in the sun all day and not move from your hotel, in which case you won't.
But to travel around and see part of the country you are visiting helps.
But truly to broaden the mind does not need travel, but a mind willing to take new things on board to continually learn from so many different mediums at our disposal.
