Well you will need to think of some opening lines of conversation instead. Also try to smile if you have made eye contact and if the smile is returned well there you go!.....
I doubt I will confiding in you again, if I ever bother going on another date! I would be afraid of what you could think up to hex me with next time.......
Personally I have no qualms mostly about other peoples opinions, it shows you who they are and yes I agree some do get very upset if they don't like one that doesn't suit. It seems some cannot cope when someone disagrees with them and they will not agree to differ.
It is the way often, that opinions are expressed that can be unnecessarily harsh in tone and offensive in language that I think a lot of people dislike.
Well how big do you think I am Yami!!! I only came to see what was going on, long time since I was considered one of the guys! And how did I try and sabotage anything?
My date last night said he would pick me up between 7.30 and 8pm. He turned up at 8.10pm and no he did not have far to come, just a few minutes.
His dog came too, as some fireworks were being let off and he did not want to leave her.
Having arrived at the first pub for a drink, after being regaled of all the health problems in his family and how most of them came to their demise on the way there, the bar was chocker block and very noisey, so we went to a second pub at which was being held a karoke and disco in the other bar.
Well 20 excruciating minutes later we left for the third pub. This was very large and full of mostly younger people. There was a guy singing mainly Neil Diamond songs, which was good apart from him not reaching all the notes and keep turning from the mike to cough!
So as it was impossible to talk there we came back to a more local pub where a dj was playing modern R & B and blues, all ok having dropped the dog off on the way. So my date had had two pints of shandy and so asked his friend if he would drop us back home so he could carry on drinking! His car was two small so it was suggested we go back in my dates car, only thing was, the dog had been in it and so we didn't fancy getting covered in dog hairs. His friend went home to get his other larger car just to give us a lift.
So having sorted out the problem of getting home and me feeling a definite nausance in my dates pursuit of an alcohol induced stupor, I was quite enjoying the music and other company so got up with others to dance. I have to say I really had a good time in the end, but guess what I replied when asked by my date at the end of the evening if I would like to go out with him again?
Why am I boring you all with this, well someone on here hexed me, saying I would end up in a karoke place, he knows who he is!
RE: What would you do?
All you can do is wait to be around and pick up the pieces with them.
