Dear Shy, the very least she owed you was to be honest on Friday, not on Monday. That would have ticked me off too. If it was too early for the weekend thing, she should have been honest with you. You may have gotten mad, but your respect for her could still be in tact. To bad you wasted a entire weekend on a woman who was still figuring out what she wanted. As a woman I understand how our roller coaster of feelings can get us into trouble and confuse the heck out of men, but a decent guy especially deserves the truth. Good Luck:) There are women who know what they want:):) Find you one, and get the love you deserve.
745 miles to be exact...and no I would not be his taxi, nor would I expect him to be mine...but if he's worth the chance at least once, why not? But he would do the traveling the next time...It should be share-and-share alike if you're both interested in a distance relationship...And I think he's worth it:)
OOOhhh, sounds like you've done this before?? Do Tell, inquiring minds want to know:) How about homemade chicken salad on those little crackers you could feed eat other? Like the Tiki Torch idea...have used those when I've gone camping before...
Oh, and I thought the Harley and leather chaps would have been your first choice....boohoo..sobbing, she rides off into the sunset...in her leather....vroom:) vroom:)
Woohoo..glad for you and Miss Amber...Much Love for you two..Bring us some pictures, and seriously consider UnionJoe's book offer...I think he's an undiscovered author in the making, he seems to know a lot about books, lawnmowers, and Mickey Mouse, or so I hear...I have to wait until June 11th..but am very excited also...:):):)Earl is funny, smart, and handsome, though he's a little shy about the latter, and he's thinking about a Harley..vroom, vroom:)...Much Love & Happiness....
Okay this is sad here folks....got a beautiful weekend coming up, Spring Fever everywhere, and no one has any great ideas for a romantic afternoon or evening alone with their sweetie with some munchies or etc...Come on, let's hear what you would take along on a picnic with your girl with your guy...would it make any difference if it didn't matter what size the basket was? I'm posting to my own thread...could be a clue...no one's feeling romantic or the thread stinks...guess we'll have to see...hehe LOL
I would start with Milk Chocolate Covered Strawberries, a soft blankie and two people who's crazy about each other either in a field of daisies, in a canoe drifting along, or in the mountains with a rippling stream nearby...like the sound of water flowing down the rocks..What's your dream picnic basket for a date?
Son 24 yrs, recently married, wonderful daughter-in-law, daughter, 23yrs in April '06 and soon to be married to a wonderful to be son-in-law. House all to myself except my clan who are also the joy of my life...no I didn't start having my kids in high school..just was married 7 months, got a sinus infection, took antibiotics and well you know the rest of the story if you understand antibiotics and birth control pills. But am glad now, cause I'm still young enough to still have a lot of fun with the right feller. Woohoo...:)
These girls love you...I love your online name...kind of sweet and naughty all rolled up in one. Gentle sounds sweet, Paw...ummm, sounds naughty, but it's a good naughty. I've been informed "friendly kisses" are okay to give away, but no mushy kisses. So *** a gentle kiss on Paws cheek*** cause he's such a sweetie. This should start a trend, cause women's just like men, don't want something until somebody else wants it...so the kisses, flowers, emails, kidnapping & held against your will with passionate kissing, etc...should be coming right up when these ladies see I've posted to your thread. Take care Gentle Paws...
Smart Man Highplains...A man should know what to do to keep his lady, and she should have enough self respect for herself and him to at least leave before she would cheat on him. If he's treated her like a queen and she's still not happy, then don't cheat on him, leave him respectfully. And vica versa on this opinion. If a man is not happy with me, I can respect him, if he leaves before he cheats. I like your confidence in that you know you've taken care of your lady enough, that No Man COULD take her away...awesome:) Good Luck with your Lady..
Wow, Mach25, sounds like you quite smitten with a lady here on CS. Sounds like you have the right idea of how a lady likes to be cherished and loved. We should tell the ones we care about everyday what blessing they are to us. We aren't guaranteed tomorrow. Today may be all we'll have. What's the old saying...Seize the Day:) Much Love & Happiness to you and your lady...
Life is too short and too precious not to share with someone else. Commitment is a choice a person..man or woman makes one day at a time. Commitment is a choice, not an emotion, or feeling, etc, but a choice to be faithful to the person you've given your heart, body, and soul to. You just have to find a person man or woman who believes you are worth that commitment and who themselves can be trusted, and a person whom you will love to the same depth in your soul
Absolutely, if you're both comfortable with meeting. I've got a couple exciting dates ahead this summer & fall and I'm excited. I believe I can trust my good judgement with this one. I've done my homework, and even a few of the ladies have given me their opinion about their experiences with this one. I believe I can trust him, which is the bottom line for me....
Speaking strictly as a lady who enjoys nicely groomed facial hair, if it's something that caught my attention to him at first, why would I want to change that about him later. And Staches "mmmmmmm great facial hair," if nicely groomed.
Morning LionHearted...which part surprised you? I'm a very gentle creature until it comes to the safety of my loved ones (two legged and four legged) I just looked up the definition of the word people were throwing around here the word "coward." It's definition means to "lack courage or be shamefully afraid." I'm glad my forefathers who gave their lives for the many freedoms we're all enjoying now and the service people still now giving their lives for these same freedoms were not "cowards" lacking courage or being shamefully afraid or else we would all not be having this conversation. I do not hunt, nor am I against hunting if the hunter eats his kill. I've never had to shoot someone, but if it comes down to it, I could. I figure the criminal will come "a packing" I'm gonna be "a packing" too. To me that increases not decreases my odds of walking away. LOL Lionhearted. Just remember my dog was his or her warning. I think I've done my part to deter criminals before they do something stupid...LOL..Keep these guys straight...hehe..
Ocee, I guess I'm double protected cause I have a dog and a gun. I figure the dog at least will give the bad guy a warning. If he or she ignores the warning, then he or she has a death wish, which I am happy to oblige to make come true. I'm a God fearing woman who better have a gun fearing criminal who will stay away, cause if he or she comes a-calling to harm me or my own (this counts for my kitty clan or my dog or my children)then he or she gonna meet their maker that day or night. I'll even tell them about Jesus just before I pull the trigger. Don't hate anyone, very humble in fact, but still am not afraid to protect my own as Joe and others have said by any means or with any means possible. A criminal would be safer in Iraq than my house if he or she comes to steal my hard earned possessions or even worse to harm my loved ones. One mean female Grizzly Bear here..Take your chances bad guy or woman. One of us may go home to Jesus, but I'm prepared are you?
Wikked..I'll tell you why I think men stay...it's because they are "men" not quitters, willing to be men of their word, and not selfish, knowing splitting the family hurts the kids the worst. I believe real men, not men who are hopeless or stupid "stay" cause they understand and believe in the committment they made. I admire and appreciate a man with a big heart and a backbone to stand for what he believes in. I can show a man like that respect.
