Sounds like the perfect recipe to make a Marriage work for a lifetime...the "bottom line" is open honest communication before marrying and continue to let that build a foundation of trust, respect, and stability that the marriage could weather any storm that "blows its way."
Does the relationship you have with your Loved One be it a gentleman or lady have what it takes to make it through the tough times as easily as it does through the easy times? Personally I believe before you can ever consider marrying anyone for a lifetime relationship/ lifemate bond, you have to go through some rough times to see how strong the bond and committment is from you both. We can all Love someone when the going is easy...it's in the storms of life that we find out what we're made out of So do you have what it takes and if so, give some past examples to share with all your CS family and friends And please...give any advise you've got to share from your past experiences..
I can verify this too..that Earl is very careful letting anyone into his computer space...I practically had to run around nekkid to get in but my southern drawl..and batting my lovely hazel eyes were more than he could resist Love you Sweetheart..I'm here for you..but don't think this setback is gonna let you off the hook...Santa can still come and see me when you get back on your feet..
I'm with you I can be more disciplined about my spending using cash only...cause once it's gone, it's gone...none of that floating junk of this this check or that charge....I've been teaching this to my young adult children for years. To this day, even young married as they are...they consider being deep in debt not a wise choice
Mike, it's all about the way you make her feel when she talks with you...or the way you look at her when you're with her...if she thinks you think she hung the moon, stars, and the sky...then she'll probably treat you like the Sun...the center of her universe...
Agreed Hal...it would seem a "courteous" thing to at least acknowledge a gentleman's flower to a Lady or a lady's flower to a gent. I always try to acknowledge unless I'm uncomfortable about the origin of the flower..such as out of our county..not always sure why someone would be contacting me from another country. Course I'm from the South, and we're supposed to be courteous, comes with the upbringing...yall
Hey!!! Did everybody notice..??? She didn't even give us her dentist's telephone number..guess she's keeping him all to herself No problem...I'll find my own
Have I told you lately just how much I Wuv U? Thank you for the dedication...I'll have to tell Santa that you've been really good this year And we'll see what sweet little lacy thing he can leave for you under the Christmas Tree
Oh, Honeybun... I'm hoping once you come to the South, and get some of this good ole southern hospitality, that you'll never be the same and you'll keep coming back for more
Mike, it's no secret to the CS Ladies...you have one of the biggest hearted men on CS Keep writing especially for the Lady who's Love is warmly embraced in your Heart
How exciting Congratulations!!! Throwing Birdseed, ********May you and your Man have a lifetime of Love, Laughter, Memories, Good Health..and Companionship together
Laurie, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lifemate, and your family. Enjoy this time together, cause none of us know if we will ever get another holiday together with our loved ones. Not trying to be morbid...just reminding everyone and myself that we should never take one of God's Blessings or another day on this earth with our loved ones for granite. I won't be seeing Earl for Thanksgiving but he's coming down for Christmas, and we just can't wait. {{HUGS}} Sweet CS Lady Cajun
Then we get upset when they don't understand how we Feel?? Sure makes me glad I'm a girl...with info like this sounds like the guys don't have a fighting chance in
Paws, we All have bagage..it's called our History in life...it shapes us in positive ways and shapes us in negative ways...it makes us stronger in some things and more vulnerable in other things...You're a Very Adored Gentleman here on CS..so you may modestly say you're not what you think you should be or even what you thought you were, but the CS Panel...ranks you at least a 10
I haven't heard "wedding bells" yet...but rumors have it that there are several couples who met on CS who are engaged and are getting married in 2007. Good Luck Husband Hunting
There's not enough space on this thread to state everything I'm thankful for..but I would have to begin with my Faith in Jesus Christ. I am Thankful for the Best kids a parent could ever have. I'm thankful for the young man and woman they have become and that we are still close as are their recent spouses. I am Thankful for my Health...and all my earthly blessings, my home, pets, etc. All these things don't compare to what my personal relationships mean to me...in addition to my children, I have a few family members left whom I love and cherish...and last, but most certainly not least...is my Love for Earl....He has filled my heart with Love and he has made me laugh, and cry (good crys). I feel so secure in his geniune love for me. He's coming down in December to spend Christmas with me...and nothing...could make me happier except for the time to pass even quicker until he arrives...and then it can slow down. He seems to have a precious family whom I look forward to meeting...So come on folks...what are you or who are you Thankful for?
I second this suggestion...wanna know what competition looks like...all you lovely NH ladies up there near my feller...course he knows all you and could play the field...(that is if he doesn't value his life ) So, go for it! If you see a feller you think is available and still flirting around...give it a chance Never know, he might have been waiting on you to make the move cause even guys hate setting themselves up for rejection all the time Hey at our age...we should be confident enough to go after what we want...in a Lady Like..convincing way Take care Assets...you're a beautiful lady...wish we could trade the states we're living in..I would love to be closer to Earl
How about having the troublemakers already mixed up with terrorism put one of their buddies under each arm and walk all the way back where they came from. Save our tax dollars involved in de-porting, etc....
Professor...there's not a Southern Gentleman alive here in the South who would openly share that kind of info...bad case of TMI...TMI...TMI..(too much information)...this type info would not turn on a nypho..much less a Southern Lady
Welcome to the CS Funny Farm.. Your padded room will be frequented by fun-filled orderlys and some of the nurses checking on you are real Babes Have Fun, this is a Great Bunch of Nuts to hang out with Be yourself..they won't know the difference
A couple that's I've used over the years Two Wrongs Don't make one Right An ounce of Prevention is better than a pound of Cure What did you Learn from that Experience?
Now when they're working with children at our church..my words are coming out of their mouths...hehe, but they'd never admit it
RE: Theres nothing better than what on a good cold night?
A warm body, a warm heart, a warm embrace, and a warm kiss..all to Snuggle with
